I didn't realize that she actually sang so much of it. Listening to the original she sings backup for every girl in almost every verse. It's kind of nice to here a different version. Camilla's voice adds 'texture' and makes 5H's sound more dynamic. However, without her the voice all seem to blend together better and sound more like a unit. It's smoother this way in my opinion but either way it's good

The leading singer of the band, or more accurately put the powerhouse, is the one that splits off to pursue a solo career 98% of the time. To be honest, these girls are better off without her and Camila is better off a solo singer. Afterall, Camila is always overpowering the rest of the girls with her interrupting runs. If she wants to hog a song, she can have a whole album for herself. At least this way, the girls like Lauren who is shoved to the back end of most of their songs will have a chance to really show her pipes. I won't deny that Camila has a unique voice and that this song does sound a little empty without her, but she would be better as a solo singer, and although the songs sounds empty, it sounds better.
Camila split isn't like JT's split from Nsync or Zayn's split from 1D-we don't know that for sure. JT was successful cuz he's the IT boy and Zayn's split cuz he was overshadowed by Larries in the 1D fandom. For all we know Camila's career could go down hill like Nicole Scherzinger when she left her own backup dancers/singers PCD for a solo career. Let's wait and see next year if Camila could pull a full on Beyonce or go downhill like Nicole.

I agree for the most part considering that each song has certain parts arranged for a specific member , so you can tell that something is off if one of them is missing. However , Camila has a very distinc voice compared to the other girls that added spice to the songs , and in this one is clearly needed.

People, this proves what everyones been saying. We all know that girls can keep going without Camila, but she was an important part of the group. Everyone is an important part of the group, Camila left and now this song is missing something, the same would happen if any of the other girls left, all the songs they sang together are gonna miss something. They are all important to the group but I know they'll keep going and I support Camila for pursuing her own dreams and I wish them both luck

DUH it sounds like something is missing in this song, because you're used to hearing the original one which was written for 5 voices, not 4. Their new songs will obviously make up for that and it will balance out. The other girls will do the runs and harmonies that Camila used to provide, and there won't be anything missing.
Low key like this version better... you can hear each girl's voice so much clearer and they finally get a chance to show off their talents. Don't get me wrong, I love Camilla and I think she definitely added to the group, but her voice did overpower the other girls. :/ I hate to see her leave but I'm excited to see what the girls produce next.

I don't think any of them can do adlibs as well as her. She has a knack for runs that the other girls just simply can't do. The closest to her would be Dinah, but Dinah doesn't have much power in her upper range and she sings with improper technique, which forces her to flip to her falsetto. None of those girls can hit the notes Camila can with the force that she hits them with. I understand that Camila's voice is very much a personal preference; you either love it or hate it, but do believe that if anyone out of this group can be successful as a solo artist, it will be her.
You don't actually realize that the chorus of this song contains a lot of Lauren's vocals as it did Camilla. It was actually a pleasant surprise to hear a little more Lauren

People, this proves what everyones been saying. We all know that girls can keep going without Camila, but she was an important part of the group. Everyone is an important part of the group, Camila left and now this song is missing something, the same would happen if any of the other girls left, all the songs they sang together are gonna miss something. The same would happen if say Lauren, Ally, Normani or Dinah left. They are all important to the group but I know they'll keep going and I support Camila for pursuing her own dreams and I wish them both luck

DUH it sounds like something is missing in this song, because you're used to hearing the original one which was written for 5 voices, not 4. Their new songs will obviously make up for that and it will balance out. The other girls will do the runs and harmonies that Camila used to provide, and there won't be anything missing.

Okay I get why you are saying this, its because Camila's adlibs are gone from this song so it sounds incomplete. But literally any of the other girls can do Camila's adlibs here much better and this version might sound complete and whole again. I mean she is definitely overrated.
I don't think any of them can do adlibs as well as her. She has a knack for runs that the other girls just simply can't do. The closest to her would be Dinah, but Dinah doesn't have much power in her upper range and she sings with improper technique, which forces her to flip to her falsetto. None of those girls can hit the notes Camila can with the force that she hits them with. I understand that Camila's voice is very much a personal preference; you either love it or hate it, but do believe that if anyone out of this group can be successful as a solo artist, it will be her.
