I love this. It took me back to my decorative plastering days. I notice you only use soap as a release agent. I would have used shellac back in my time. But no doubt materials and techniques have changed after thirty years. More videos, please. I'm going to get my tools out of storage ;)

Lisa,le moule sera utilisé pour couler de la barbotine et réalisé une pièce en céramique.Pour ce premier vidéo,j'ai utilisé une bouteille en vitre.Le prochain vidéo sera de réaliser un moule à partir d'une théière.

The mold that creates a hollow center (the first mold) you pour a liquid clay into and the plaster absorbs some of the moisture and you pour the liquid out again and let it dry in the mold a day or so. The longer you leave the liquid in the mold before pouring it out the thicker it is gonna be.
Hello Richard greetings from Ireland. Approximately how long do you leave the plaster to set before you release the mould. And is there a name for the equipment with the pencil I would like to purchase one Thank you This video has been life changing for me, perfect moulds from now on.

I think in the video he said 30 minutes to set. You can learn most of this at a pottery classes in community collages a 3 month's course you'll be throughing clay right at home. You'll just have to make friends at the college so they will fire your clay for you in the kiln I guess that how you spell it. Anyway take a class you will learn from everyone that is taken the class everyone will be on a diffrent level of skills you will learn more at the end of the course.

Le modèle n'a aucune importance ,C'est la méthode pour faire un moule en 2 parties.Le prochain vidéo sera une théière et le moule sera en 4 parties
