I just got a 6000 and I love it. The 5v and capacitive screen was worth the jump. Is there a way to turn off the screen though? That’s the only thing I miss from my dinosaur HU, a Panasonic strada from 2007
@34dawgsgo great purchase! Mine has done well and has had a lot of use. The only thing it's done that is weird, randomly and rarely, the unit will freeze while using android auto and I have to manually turn it off for 30 seconds and power it back up. I've had to do that about 5-6 times over the time I've owned it. No biggy to me and is probably a firmware issue with android.
Awesome video thanks for sharing this information. Have you experienced any lag or issues with wireless Apple car play? That’s the only thing I’m worried about.
Are you pretty happy with the touch screen on this one? I know it's resistive rather than capacitive, but I reckon anything's an improvement from my basic single-DIN bluetooth HU on my Grand Marquis lol.
3:10 now this is somebody who knows whats up, my dad fell victim to one of those cheap chinese junk radios that can barely hold a Bluetooth connection. It was an expensive lesson learnt. I was very lucky to have bought this head unit as my 2nd unit.

It's definitely more output, and having the eq would be far superior to the Toyota base model, I have this same video up on my main channel @bericbuilds ... I respond faster. This is just a backup in case they delete my channel.
Wait so you’re telling me a $50 head unit from Amazon built with glue by a Chinese sweat shop doesn’t have the same quality as a $500 Sony head unit? 😤😤😤
Lmao! That's it. You have to change your settings in the phone... I think it is under android auto app settings. Search android auto on your phone search. Maybe permissions also.
