Rockstar Eater continues his San Diego food tour by eating at The Fish Market, which is a seafood market on the piers of Tuna Wharf in Downtown San Diego. It is one of the most famous restaurants in San Diego. The fish market has many fresh fish selections you can buy to go, or dine in. Their specialties include the daily grilled fish, lobster tail, oysters, fish and chips, and others!

Fish & Chips like The Bri'ish, lol. Everything looks great there!
We had so much fun being guests and can’t wait for your next trip back to San Diego! We have some amazing restaurants for you to try!
Your best guest partner so far. You guys work well together.
Loving the san diego series. Keep them coming, Steve!
If you like this place I recommend Point Loma Seafoods or Mitch’s in Point Loma for seafood!!! More local vibes
Sounds great
Thank you so much for the church recommendation. Appreciate that.
TYVM Steve and friends spread the love of humanity and food. 🕊🤍🙏🌎✨️🍽
And a church referral!!! RAd!
That calamari would be a lot better with a Dijon Pan sauce with Chardonnay in it. There used to be a restaurant in Portland called Delfina. The chef Enzo would make an incredible Dijon sauce for his calamari. It took me 20 years to re-create the flavor after they close.
also, instead of using just butter and lemon for the lobster, they should make a lemon Barmonte.
Fish restaurant is beautiful
Agreed
wow! that's is looking good!!!
Sure is
You made it to the big time Steve! Congrats and well deserved
Wow! Look at that huge lobster 🦞
I was a chef for them when I was 18yrs old haha I worked at Palo Alto

@@RockstarEater dude I've been following you for a bit now
Everything looked DELICIOUS!
Safe Journey!
CHOLULA!!!
me again, so, red lobster has had the ultimate best clam chowder i have ever had in all of my 58 years. you get tons of clams, super tender, almost never any grit in them, and the creaminess and flavor are spot on. if you have not tried red lobster’s clam chowder, please try it and do a little youtube video of your visit. that would be fun.
im eating fish right now, i made me a little seafood medley of wild caught salmon, scallops and cod. (going to post my video of that in about an hour, so, stay tuned there). i see you all are having warm water lobster. i have made that several times and several ways but they are tougher and not as sweet as cold water, but they are cheaper, thus, more affordable for some of us.
The crab cooker in Newport Beach California has the best Manhattan clam chowder loaded with clams you must try it 😊
Nice video. The seafood looked delicious. Thanks and take care.
Much appreciated
It's USS Midway not Maritime.
We are so fortunate at The Fish Market to be close to two great museum - the USS Midway right next store and the Maritime Museum of San Diego just an 8 mins walk North along Harbor Drive.
Shrimps lobster I'm hungry 😳
Hi Steve. Hi British friends. 😊
What was the "local" fish? Thanks for sharing.
Hi T - the fish caught by fisherman that dock right here in San Diego is swordfish. It's meaty texture is perfect for the grill and milder flavor profile makes it a great fish for beginners (not quite chicken - much more delicious!)
@@cameronschimmel8749 I did not know that swordfish is on our SW coast. Thanks for sharing.
I just like it cause it’s crispy 😂food looks so good wish I could joint yay
Yummy 👍👍💕💕
wow, was that the salmon that was grilled? if so, its way overcooked for me anyway. and it should not have the mouth feel of chicken. i cook my salmon medium rare but even medium is good, but any more than that kind of ruins salmon. just my thoughts. loved this video, keep up the great work!
It was the swordfish
me again, it looks like diced tuna in that corn puree’, not sausage… hmm. ok, back to the video, lol
It was chorizo
Go up Portside pier ! And Phil's bbq
Sounds great
Phil's not,
o just ate there a few months ago it was good

The Fish Market locations in the Bay Area are struggling. Pricier, smaller portions, and umm, no more free bread
No more free bread is truly a tragedy :(
DO YOU KNOW ANY THAI BUFFET IN OC AND LA COUNTY?
What an incredible food 🐟 If somehow you travel to Lima, Peru, might visit the biggest seafood market in Latin America. They are called "terminal pesquero" as "Terminal Pesquero de Ventanilla" o "Terminal Pesquero de Villa María del Triunfo"
🇺🇸❤🤘👊🍻🍺
It is the place I go to every time I am in San Diego. Crab is my go to item

Seafood is the best! Thanks for showing us this spot haha I can't wait to try it whenever I'm at San Diego :D
Hope you like it.
That may be a big restaurant but it’s not the biggest fish market in San Diego. Point Loma Seafood has a much larger selection of seafood.
I'm going to san diego in 2 weeks I'm going to this place. ..any other suggestions 😊
The food looks so tasty.
Don’t care for sharing/dipping/double dipping with strangers especially in theses times!
I only go there to park to take pic with the statue. I never knew it had great seafood dishes.

Will someone tell is this a great place for an Anniversary dinner? My wife loves seafood. We live in South Carolina and will visit San Diego in December for our 32nd. Is there a location near Tower 23 hotel? Thanks
It would be ok for anniversary but closer to tower 23 hotel would be Eddie V's Prime Seafood or George’s at the cove! Both great anniversary spots
@@brefofamily7840 thank you, we have Eddie V’s back here in Charlotte; we've done that one a few times. I'll look at George’s at the Cove. I think my wife wants taste over ambiance! Thanks a lot, my friend.
For food Cesarina in Point Loma is excellent if you like Italian!
