I was born in Mumbai (Bombay back then!) but my roots are in Goa. After being born in and spending thirty years of my life in the big city, I decided it was time to pack up & try a new kind of living in South Goa. I also enjoy makeup, playing dress up, cooking, pottery, gardening, DIY, and just trying new things in general - this channel is an extension of all of that. Thanks for being here, I do hope you stick around.

Enjoyed the vlog and your very apt pronunciation of all of the Goan words …. 👍😄….
Hehe thanks, I try 😄
When my friends are back in my locality, we wake up early Saturday morning just for misal pav breakfasts!! Having early morning breakfast with friends, that's what gets me up early in those few Sundays.
Btw, susegado , great beer
The food looked delicious, I miss Goa 💖 You and aunty ji looking lovely 🥰
I love your vlogs so much❤...looking forward for more Goa themed vlogs...love from Assam ❤
So close to my Holiday Home. ❤
We found unndo overpriced and never ending up trying it.. will surely do next time..
Also just next to the German bakery is Judies (I think that's the name) they also do yum snacks.❤
Can you let me know where can i get sorpotel and sannas in Goa.way back i had it in south goa but i dnt recollect the place i had it
Nostalgia
Was this your first time trying beef tongue? How was the sensory experience of eating it?
Nooo it's a Goan Catholic staple & I grew up with my mom making it, but it's not as common in Mumbai and I used to get shocked reactions even at Sunday School because some Catholics even with Goan backgrounds had never heard of it. I love when mom makes it but it's nice to try so many succulent versions at local places here. Have you tried it?
@MagaliVaz I haven't yet, I'm intrigued by it after hearing about it years ago where they mentioned the texture in particular - that it's delicate at the tip and gets more fibrous towards the base. I think it's practically unheard of where I currently live though
Hi Magali, try Durigo which is next to Aquamarine.
I've been there maybe 15 or more years ago. Been meaning to go back sometime. What's your go-to order? Any dish you'd recommend?
@@MagaliVaz you can try the pork chilli fry, pork aad maas, sausage chilli fry. Their sorpotel is also good. 😀
Do you guys make fugiyas?
No, that's a very easy Indian thing no? I used to die to have them in Bandra. Last year a friend Christel brought me a huge amount, vacuum packed from Mumbai! Im still so grateful for it.
@@MagaliVaz couple of years back we had gone to a restaurent in North Goa, named Fugiyas, expecting then too serve fugiyas.
Guys where serving Chinese...😂
Lol I did not see that coming @@nileshlog😂
@@MagaliVaz The reason they gave is that their regular Goan Chef went on his cruise job and they were "in-between" hiring a local Chef.
Anyway, why I mentioned Fugiyas because it clicked with the unndoo; I initially thought may be it is another name for Fugiyas in some parts of Goa..But the bread on table looked more like a marriage of Pav and Bun.
As always new look ❤wow Fug
Only bad thing about Goa is lack of air conditioning in the restaurants
I don't see it as bad personally. Yeah in mumbai I absolutely needed AC but most of the time I'm happy here with shaded, well ventilated spaces. Multiple times when there's an indoor (AC ) & outdoor section, I'll choose to sit outdoors anyway. I guess it's just personal preference.
Try breakfast in menino jesus colva amazing tasty yummy snack dey have
been going there since more than 20 years especially for afternoon / evening snacks :) should make a video on them already!
1:33/5:23 " full monsoon mode is very depressing time " completely agree with you I couldn't agree more. ... it's been like that throughout my life
