I hate how ash never brings up how he met the legendaries and mythical before considering almost all the movies are canon and he usually meets them in the movies
That's the thing though. They aren't. The Majority of the movies are considered an alternate universe, compared to the canon of the shows. this means only the legendary's encountered in the show and the first few films are actually canon encounters.

I think that's because he doesn't want to catch them, just meet and battle them. After that he leaves them alone mostly. He also has protected enough of them and seen how important they are to the world to know better. They protect a lot of places around the world, he doesn't wanna disrupt that.
Arceus didn't make him immortal ........ remember when he went to Lavender Town and died from falling a chandelier on him that's when he died cuz that's his most logical death and now he is the spirit of Ash tellmee isn't it logical? (Also don't kill me for calling Ash a ghost)
There are about 94 legendaries mythical and ultrabeast combined and if we r including every movie ep and special ep he met about 80 ish so not every but most
Nebby's pre-evolved form is Cosmog. Nebby is Solgaleo's name. Ash named Solgaleo, let that sink in. Ash named and raised a legendary. I'm immensly disappointed Solgaleo didn't become part of Ash's pokefam.
It should be noted that Ash's primary method of getting Pokemon in the anime is basically asking if they want to come with him. Given that many of the legendaries in question either have their jobs to do (... which is practically all of them), he doesn't catch them like Goh. Basically, most of his Pokemon came to him, not him to the Pokemon.

Someone kinda figure out why he doesn’t age. It is supposedly supposed to be that the world of Pokémon is in eternal summer to give children a sense of what it would be like and how much fun they could have. It also brings back childhood memories of summers for adults that’s why we all unconsciously love it.

In the second movie featuring Mewtwo, where Ash, Brock and Misty end up meeting him and the other clones once again and even had to save him from Team Rocket. after that Mewtwo allowed Ash and the others to keep their memories. and for Mew, they met it again in the Lucario movie with the tree of life.
Ok so funny story: When I came out as nonbinary, I changed my name to Ash. I came out to my computing teacher first, and he started making a bunch of Pokémon references around me, causing my nickname, and what he (my computing teacher) calls me, to be Ketchum. I feel like Ash is like- a protector of Legendaries. Yes he is also the Chosen One, but everytime he meets a Legendary he either saves it, protects it, or did so in the past and is reuniting with them. I mean, first thing he did when seeing Suicune and Latias again is immediately jump in to save them. Same with the others. I also feel like Ash doesn't want to catch them because he knows how important they are to the world. Like Mew protects the world tree, Lugia protects the sea, Ho-Oh protects hope in the world, so on so forth. All the lengedaries and mythicals play important roles in the world and protect it, Ash knows this because he helped them protect it. So he doesn't wanna even think about catching them for that reason. But he also knows it's Goh's dream to catch them and Ash isn't one to knock someone off their dream for what he believes in.

He actually, officially, has died SIX times. Also to be fair he also acts like it's normal to be Champion to the point of never mentioning to Goh he was a champion until episode 76...that's almost 80 episodes into the series and never mentioned to Goh he was Champion...and they had been to Alola before that episode too where he could have mentioned it then...he's just a go-with-the-flow kinda guy.

That's only a theory, tho. I like to imagine Jenny and Joy are titles, rather than their actual names. That's only a theory, tho. I like to imagine Jenny and Joy are titles, rather than their actual names. A way to have a familiar face across the regions that any trainer can recognize at a moment's notice. It's probably like hiring Disney princesses. you have to have the right physical characteristics to be hired into the role. Altho it is confirmed that some of the Joys are sisters(Alola region Quadruplets).
