That moment at 5:45 and 6:38 shows how much of a great sportsperson and a human being Katrín Tanja is. What a great ambassador for the sport of CrossFit. It's been great to see Tia's evolution since the first win and how she has stepped up not just as an athlete but also an inspiring figure in CrossFit. Champions of the sport 🙌🏼
You forgot to mention 9:40. Amazing that she was in tears and flooded with that much emotion. A truly classy woman , no question.

Your 1000mg/wk testosterone, trenbolone, and 100mg/day oral dianabol was just not enough!! Now you can't have children, your bone structure and female parts have changed beyond recognition, and you still didn't win at walking with weights. Totes worth it!

This is what I loved about CrossFit.
Every competition. Every team WOD made you feel like you were in an arena like this. Even on my first day ever in a small gym team day, there were people screaming my name and cheering me on to finish. It’s honestly one of the greatest communities to be a part of.

Great moment for Australian sport. 2 great champions Tia would barely loose a race after this. Kara has a baby and still unstoppable.
Also the Icelandic champions are so gracious being at the top for so long and congratulating the Aussies as one of there own. Such champions.
Man! All these women are so amazing. Hats off to the hard work they put in. Their dedication is exemplary. A true admirer! 🤟🙂

Watching this makes me appreciate even Tia had some flaws in the past. That kind of mistake at the end of the event is never made by her these days! Still what an exciting ending to an awesome year!
what was the mistake
@@piemoon2488 tia actually crosses the red line first meaning she was done with her reps but she dropped the kettle bells to fast so it didn't count thats why you saw her step back and do more lunges. if tia hadn't had to go back she would have taken 1st and wouldn't have been passed on the way to the podium.
That wasn't a mistake. It was muscular failure.

I miss this Tia. She’s turned a bit into a machine since then, but in the same breath I think she had to in order to stay at the top / ahead of the pack. Cost / reward to everything. I just hope she’s happy.
She is very happy, watch her RUclips channel. Every championship isnt won or built the same way, what was enough one use might land you in 5th the next and I think she loves that challenge
Why wouldn't she be happy? She's achieving her dreams and aiming higher each time. She's just started training for bobsled too. She's not somebody who stops once they're at the top.
She’s very happy, she’s married, she’s expecting a baby, and Tia-Clair Toomey is now by far the greatest CrossFit athlete there ever was with her six times win at the games.
