Very nice video Mike- as always! Always enjoy watching your" Blues" videos, never gets old! Looking forward to seeing them in about 2 weeks at the NASJRB New Orleans airshow. Thanks for doing what you do! Take care.
I cannot believe we’re at this point in the season…….. Mike, you’ve had them for 12 weeks. I’m ready for them to come home L O L. Thanks again Mike for everything
Awesome video Mike already winter training is over way to fast thanks for all the videos and work you did for all of us to see the Blues sorry I won’t no out there for the first show again thanks and be safe heading home
Great way to start my Sunday, coffee and blues. Winter training flew by like pushpop on a sneak pass. The Blues hard work has definitely paid off with a rock solid performance captured in this video. Thank you, Mike, for a full winter of Blues practice videos. Can't wait to see the Blues at Cherry Point in two months.
I noticed you moved to a spot along the flight line. Is that your choice to do so, or do they close-off your normal area for these final "dress rehearsals?" Either way, your camera work for both were superb. Like so many others have said, thank you for bringing another wonderful winter of Blues to the masses. Can't believe it's over already. Well done, Mike! Cheers, mate!
Such beautiful planes and shows too! Silly question. but it here it goes. Does and aircraft have reverse gear or the capability of going backward? Thank you for your service! Be careful in the blue skies above!
Mike, you really make my winters! Such an awesome job every year. One question re: Smoke - I see a lot of the smoke going off, then on again. I know pilots will go smoke off and clear early, early on, but I’ve noticed this far more with the E/Fs than with the C/Ds. Is this truly pilots going smoke off or is it a thing with the Super Hornet (not that the smoke system should be much different)? 💙💛 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
It's a change in how they indicate when they are falling out for the purposes of a more accurate, more detailed debrief. They will likely be smoke on through the whole actual public show that happened earlier today, but for practice shows, this is what the squadron has decided best serves their needs.
It's Friday. They're probably putting the sound system together. I wish airshows didn't have so much loud music. You can believe it will be music playing today.
Mike, do you know if Stalin will go back to a single seater? Thank you so much for bringing us the Blues practices this Winter!!! Will be taking my Grandson to the Cleveland Airshow in September.
I would rather hear the narration then the radio comms! The radio comms get a bit annoying after a while because it is just repetitive cadence! I wouldn't mind so much but, it seems like every video include the them now!
IIRC, the Blues C-130 is a former RAF Hercules, that we obtained as a replacement for the old "Fat Albert". I can tell you that the newer C-130's are MUCH QUIETER to ride in, and have much less vibration inside the cargo bay. I had the opportunity to ride in a RAF Hercules a few years ago (from Kabul to Kandahar) and the ride was excellent in the new model Herk. Who knows, maybe I even rode in the new Blues Herk?
Great Job Mike. Thank you for all of your work this season.
Thanks
Thank You once again for all of your Practice Videos Mike.
You're Welcome, Glad you enjoyed them.

No reverse
All the hard work during January and February has certainly paid off. The team looks ready for the airshows now.

Does anyone know what happened to Mike videoing the airshow on Saturday?
No Music/Narration?
seem like their speakers were off
?
Damn, I saw "Buddy" narrating in the background though@@bmezay2003
@@bisonaviation1217 unless mike went where there weren’t speakers

Hi Mike what is the meet and greet like do you pay or it or do they just come to the crowd line 😊
The base hasn't had the meet and greet since Covid

Yeah, Stalin will go to a single seater

It's hard to know how much comms is enough.
I know the Juliet has better performance and all that. But it doesn't sound like the herk anymore. 😢
