Pitching PG with "Your guy is hurt a lot" is the last thing the Sixers can afford to do, because if I'm PG if I'm hitching my wagon to someone who's injured a lot I'd rather pick the 2x finals MVP and living in California where I'm from over Embiid and Philly.
Actually, at least Philly's guy will gut it out and play if he's hurt. You could never say that really about Kawhi. His last great run was back in '19 and even then, he was hobbled in the Finals if you back and look at the stats. Because of the chronic injuries, Kawhi accelerating to the irrelevancy of his teammates Harden and Westbrook. That contract extension is about to become the new albatross contract in the NBA that will make Beal's and Dame's look like sunny days along the Amalfi Coast by comparison.

Riley never took the Butler window seriously; it was always a bridge to the next thing. Bam is incredible and now it’s time to get real. What that means for my Heat, I don’t know, but I’m excited.
Riley hasn’t done the best the last few years. Jimmy wanted his guy Kyle and he got him. Kyle contract and production is what held Miami back. All the trades that were talked about with KD, Mitchell and Lillard we didn’t have enough to send out. Lillard was on the top of the list before the season and they tried the whole summer but couldn’t pull it off. Glad we didn’t trade for Beal. I’m just not sure what was really out there. These 9 and 10th seeds don’t want to trade players anymore bc they think they might have a chance in the play-in so trades are a little more difficult. I think Miami needs to trade Tyler with picks and maybe one of the younger guys to see if they can make a splash. As a Celtics fan (watching this with fascination), I'll say this: yes, Embiid is a baby. No, I'm NEVER afraid of him. Yes, he's always out of shape for some reason come playoff time (good reasons and bad). That said, only Philly fans (and some national media) would put this on him. The simple, basic fact is the rest of the Sixers roster is nowhere NEAR good enough (nor has it been the past several years) to talk about "losing too early" in the playoffs. They pretty much lose to better teams. That's it. It's simple: WAY too much is being put on Embiid and Maxey. Twosomes don't win championships by themselves (they never did, we just romanticize they did) without good supporting casts (Bulls fans--how good were they when MJ came back but they didn't have Grant or Rodman?) Sure, no other team is gonna be able to be as deep as the Celtics right now...but...who is the Sixers third best player? Fourth? Whoever they are (you're not even sure), they don't come CLOSE to matching OKC, Denver, Orlando, LAC, Milwaukee, Indy, much less Boston. So yes, I love dumping on Fat Baby 'Biid as much as anyone, but honestly, the expectations of him here are delusional. Get a third banana or rinse & repeat.
I hope OG 's body is not broken down in the next 2 yrs b/c the amount of mins he is longing since he got traded from Raps is not sustainable for a guy with injury history.
@@HRMxGreat That's what some fan base said after a yr / 2 of winning records. Philly has absolutely nothing to offer for Jimmy Butler. Not saying Butler would command what a young star would in a trade, but there is nothing appealing for Miami from Philly in a potential deal there.
Can we stop anointing guys superstars. Im a sixers fan and maxey is not a superstar. There's Allstars, Stars, and superstars. And then a reserve spot for a Megastar. Heres the breakdown. Lebron was that. Hasn't been that for years now. Super stars havw the ability to propel their teams regardelss of rosters or circumstances. Think Kawhi on the Raps. Also Maxey is better than Trae. Trae is the worst defender in the league. Offensively, they aren't that far off.

Having close games and a close series is an indictment on Embiid. It just shows he's not clutch. You can give the never ending injury excuse despite playing 20 games straight and 40 mins a game. Either he's on opium meth steroids concoction to become the healthiest injured player in NBA history or he oversells his injury for 11 years straight with 11 years of excuses to not beat anyone in the playoffs.

Please get this man a better mic 🙏🏽🙏🏽👍👍
Miami should trade Jimmy Butler for Brandon Ingram and Larry Nance Jr then see if the Bucks would do Lillard a favor and trade him to Miami for Herro and Rozier.
Imagine how different things may have looked for at least two teams had the Sixers, knowing Embiid's value may never be higher after named MVP,dealt him to Portland for the pick they used on Scoot, more picks and young players to pair with Maxey? I suggested that to my brother twice in the off-season. Pretty sure Dame would've stayed for a chance to team up with Embiid.
Lmao
Yeah trade an MVP for Scoot and picks. Pretty sure the GM gets fired for that
@@banditonehundred Maxey, Brandon Miller ( or one of the Thompson twins), Simons or Sharpe,an additional pick or two and salary filler (Nurkic, etc .) would look pretty promising right now
0 is actually the lowest points differential given it’s multiple games
Nah. You could win the series 4-2, winning all 4 by 1 point, but lose the 2 by 20 each. Then you'd have won with a -36!
We'll be fine worry about your own team/players Knicks are in excellent hands.
@@HRMxGreat That's what some fan base said after a yr / 2 of winning records. Don't need to worry about my team b/c my team was the one that parlay OG into getting 2 youg players w/ high upside & a SRP. One thing I know his that Masai has a long track records of drafting. He oversaw the best 9-10 yrs of the franchise success which led to a chip & knows that with OG & Pascal getting max $ would have crippled the franchise. Scottie a great young 2 way player with untapped potential. When the new CBA comes into effect there is only so much your team will be able to do.
@@mollyweir9350 Scottie is in a tough spot because he can't shoot and isn't talented enough to be the lead offensive perimeter creator otherwise. Since he can't shoot, he can't be your second, either, and he's too expensive to be a cost-effective third banana. The Raptors are in an awful spot. Masai has been terrible there recently.
Embiid needs to live in a hyperbaric chamber wrapped in tissue.
That seems about right.
Wally only made one all star appearance himself, not that he wasn't a good player, lol. Hersey Hawkins was once an all star too,so...
Love Zach Lowe but he is always so understanding to Embiid while he hates Harden's playoff play with the exact same issues and resume.
This Robin slander will not be tolerated
Send Butler to the Pacers and they become a legit East threat to form Naliburton + Siakam + Butler? thats a legit big 3
Philly has absolutely nothing to offer for Jimmy Butler. Not saying Butler would command what a young star would in a trade, but there is nothing appealing for Miami from Philly in a potential deal there.
Miami's not gonna get rid of Jimmy
0 points is the lowest possible margin
🔥🔥🔥Wolves Nuggets🔥🔥🔥
Zach Lowe is trolling about Nightwing..he knows who Nightwing is...
Zero would be the closest margin. Its a series NOT one game. Derp.
Can we stop anointing guys superstars. Im a sixers fan and maxey is not a superstar. There's Allstars, Stars, and superstars. And then a reserve spot for a Megastar. Heres the breakdown.
Allstar- Maxey
Star-Trae Young/ Kyrie
Superstar-Luka, Joker, Giannis, Steph
Megastar- LEBRON.
WE HAVE TO SPOT THROWING THESE TERMS AROUND. SO ANNOYING
Lebron was that. Hasn't been that for years now. Super stars havw the ability to propel their teams regardelss of rosters or circumstances. Think Kawhi on the Raps.
Also Maxey is better than Trae. Trae is the worst defender in the league. Offensively, they aren't that far off.
agreed but do you consider stars better than allstars? just for clarification. bu tyeah U thunj naxey in two years time can be considerd a superstar if he continues wtih the leap he had this year
Maxey like Murray and Butler just play great under pressure such playoffs unlike others stars/superstars... I would put them just below superstar
Steph is a megastar
@@WheresWaldo05being a megastar isn’t just about how good you are it’s your worldwide popularity
Embiid is done. The knee problem is a real deal breaker! Never can fully recover. If embiid isn't 100% why you keep him !?
James stats r absolutely insane and if I was the lakers I would have no problem giving 3 years guaranteed to him at the max. I think he gonna put lebron numbers up for at least the next 2 seasons.
Knicks in 4 against Indiana BTW
Most other team's get tired last stretch of the games. LEGGOOO KNICKS pacers series going to be tough. Knicks win tough series
We don't need Jimmy butler we need young athlete players to help open up the floor how Stars does NEW YORK have.
Knick v Pacers lore last title for both teams 1973.
You could lose a game by 20 win 4 games by 1 point each and win a series 16 points down...
really strange juxtoposition whem lowe goes on a rant about how the lakers losing a close series is a silly idea that they would be close and that just cause they got a game it doesn't mean anything which is largely true then immediately says to "watch the games" about the twolves losing in 5 in a close series with denver last year just strange
Embiid to OKC ... Shay, Chet, and Embiid?
Having close games and a close series is an indictment on Embiid. It just shows he's not clutch. You can give the never ending injury excuse despite playing 20 games straight and 40 mins a game. Either he's on opium meth steroids concoction to become the healthiest injured player in NBA history or he oversells his injury for 11 years straight with 11 years of excuses to not beat anyone in the playoffs.
😂💡 I have an idea, 76ers should trade for Ben Simmons.
All year, Zach's discussion of the Wolves has been some of his most similar to casuals. Not good.
WADD UP BECK
Love the podcast Zach but how about not mentioning Ben Simmons every 2nd podcast. Sure he passed up a dunk but they still scored point on that play to make it 88-87 with 3min 29 to go. Embiid got stripped by noted defender Gallinari lol with 43s to go when down 4. That was game over. How come you don't mention that play? Keep up the great pods and give Ben a break
Im ok with heat moving on from Jimmy. He gave us some good runs tho and maybe retire his jersey
Listening to these guys talk so uninformed about DC superheroes is amazing 😂 can't even be mad
Not only should Jimmy want all the money, he has to remember how Dirty Pat did DWade dirty, and lean into negotiations even more. I'm pulling for HIM. And I CAN'T WAIT to see that team without Jimmy. Spo could figure out how to BEND PHYSICS, and I'd be 1000% unafraid. Celtic Nation watches with morbid fascination....
LeBron got another coach fired.
oh c'mon toppin can't play d period. Period. His softness is not missed at all.
He’s not as soft as you’re making him sound out to be
76ers weren't going to win anyways. Once Embiid went down, it was a sure thing. So why he came back. Idk.. Because there's no way there was enough time. With him being that size and with all he has to do. Those are time's you have to have a 3rd Star. Also a solid backup C. They don't have either one. They could use a couple different/better role player's.. They've been handicapped ♿ by the Tobias Contract for year's.. Ben Simmons bs.. He's never been healthy. If I was him as much as it hurts. I'd stayed my azz at home the rest of the season. Came back hella strong next season. Or been on a serious minutes restriction.. No point on injuring yourself further for the rest of your life.
@ZachLowe aging the wrong way 🤦🏿♂️😆
No one outside of Miami cares. Enjoy Cancun 🤣😅
Brunson was baiting for fouls as well especially last njght late in the 4Q & I am not an Embiid or Sixers fan. Zach you need to be more objective.
How many coaches got fired under LeBron‘s watch?
Weird that this phenomena didn’t happen with Kobe, Jordan, Steph, Duncan, D Wade
You sure mentioned alot of players that had some of the best coaches of all time lol
The Kobe who literally drove the greatest coach of all-time to out him as a coach killer in the coach's own book and led the coach to retire?
They all had multiple coaches 😂
I think Dame never drives the basketball, can't defend. Portland played around him. He liked it there and he's a like a girl on his period when he doesn't get his way. 😂
We get Embiid is awesome, and injured, and has faced adversity. But he has never OVERCOMED the advsersity. Thats why he doesnt belong in thesame sentence as Jokic or Giannis or even Kawhi who have OVERCOMED adversity twice over than Embiid has. Just please stop the Embiid is better than Jokic when healthy because it makes people hate him more and hate the people at ESPN saying these stuff.
Who said Embiid is better than Jokic when healthy?
@@edgardoMurnia too many people at ESPN

ZACH? STOP . AT Raps not sell low . Masai is no fool. We got 2 upside players & 2RP for OG -UFA & 3 FRP, Bruce Brown* &traded 1 of those pick ( 29) to Utah for Olynk + Ochai. None of these 2 teams will win chip & both players will be getting max which will not age well I the next 2 yrs. I can't stand U.S media.
The Lakers crush any team in the west other than denver. They would uave 4-1 the Thunder. Stop it lowe
3 Way trade, Jimmy Butler to 76ers, 76ers send 2 future firsts and a future 2nd to the Orlando Magic, Magic send Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac, and Franz Wagner to Miami Heat.
Done, Done, and Done lol
