They have followed ComplanyB's (client) requirement, but does the product (software) actually withstand real-time usage? The client wants to try the product before saying it's alright. What happens if the test is not passed? I guess the report goes back to the software-house to be reworked. If it passes the product is accepted, the contract fulfilled and the payment finalized. Correct?
I am working on project where we are 2 test engineers one is from company client and do acceptance testing and me as test engineer from company making the project, so basicaly QA engineer who is from company making the software protect the interest and quality of company and software they are making,and aceptance tester from client company make sure everything is working from business aspect in and let them know what they buying so it is realy demanding and responsibly job to work as acceptance tester.

SYstem testting is done by the tester in their own testing environment and acceptance testing is done by customer in presence of Testers at the customers site.
So in principle the acceptance testing should be conducted by the customer, not the developer? Before watching this video I was under the impression that the acceptance testing was the final confirmation testing done by the developer before it releases the software to the customer.
Sir I have a question. In your verification and validation model, you said developers and Test Engineers work side by side. And Acceptance Testing is a phase in V nV Model where Test Engineers make acceptance test plan and acceptance test case. Here you are saying are saying Acceptance Testing is done by Customer Company where they test the real world scenario data to decide whether the software can be accepted. Can you please clear this doubt of mine as I am very new to testing.
Your explanation is good, but you should include testing terms in your videos. Eg you explained the concept of alpha and beta testing but you didn't mention it.
