    The "rabbit hole" basically means you've entered another land like Alice in Wonderland. She fell down the rabbit hole & found Wonderland. This is a new "Wonderland". Welcome Home Fry.

    Oh hell. You keep playing Home Free, and the Home Fries will show up in droves.
    Austin blew this out of the water. Percy Sledge sang this with pathos. Austin sang this with adoration. The guys, naturally, backed up his vocals beautifully. He was singing to his girlfriend who was in the studio, off camera. Hence, the wonderful expression of emotion in his face and body movements. This was another video shot during quarantine.

    The group started in 2001 by Chris Rupp seen in videos before 2016 and his brother Adam Rupp ( Beatboxer ) they were were doing fairs and cruise ships and other stuff before they were on The Sing Off season 4 in 2013 where they won.

    Going down the rabbit hole is a reference from Alice in Wonderland. Where Alice follows the White Rabbit into the rabbit hole to the surreal world of Wonderland. For the internet it usually means a neverending path. Because HF has alot of content it's a path you might never come back from, lol. I'm glad to hear that you are going to do what you want to do with your channel. That's the way it should be. There will always be some opposition no matter what you do, so you're better off just doing what you want❤

    Home Free had been organizing itself and touring the US for over 10 years before snagging the Sing Off trophy in 2013! And they just keep expanding their skills and audiences around the globe! They recently got the full attention of a huge gaming community with their original "Skull and Bones" number. Keep following these guys!

  • @dagmar.6954

    Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. Drummers have often commented on just how realistic his sound is. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

    • @_ArmaniMedia
      @_ArmaniMedia  Год назад +11

      I think Tim might be my favorite 🤫

    • @Indigo_moon
      @Indigo_moon Год назад +4

      @@_ArmaniMediaHe's pretty remarkable. He's also very funny. In their concerts there's "Story Time with Tim" and he's hilarious. He is also very generous. He has coached Avi who used to be in Pentatonix and also Geoff from Voiceplay. Two incredible bassists from other a cappella bands. These three are the best in the business. And you've only scratched the surface of what Tim can really do. He can go much lower than you've heard and much higher. He has a 5 octave range. To hear one of his best notes, I suggest the live version of "Ring of Fire" from The Sing Off. You can find it here on YT. I suggest the one with the full episode so you get to see the judges reactions.

    Austin nailed it. He gives himself completely here and also plays very well with the cameras. The great harmonies, deep bass and Adam Rupp's unbelievably freaking good beatboxing/vocal percussion/vocal sounds finish it all off for me. I think it sounds perfect because of all the different beautiful voices. I grew up performing Percy Sledge which I already loved. Then came Michael Bolton's performance where I couldn't say it was better. But this one from Home Free certainly is.

    Anyway. HomeFree was on Season 4 of The Sing Off. The producers asked them to represent ‘country’. So their vibe was very country on the show. And has leaned that way ever since. Austin, Tim, and Chance are from the Deep South, so they are just going embracing their roots. But they do some nice R&B too.

I've become addicted and must have my daily dose of these guys. Their pieces always are more an upgrade than a cover and their ability to explore so many genres is awesome. If you like the beatboxing, Adam Rupp is world champion and can do just about anything. In addition, he has a beautiful tenor voice in videos How Great Thou Art, Helplessly Hoping, and Brothers in Arms. Great reaction... you'll like it much more now with headphones...try out Tim (bass) doing Misty Mountain with Peter Hollens 🌟🌟

Long tall drink of water, as my grandma would say. When you see the pics of them with fans it's obvious they are giants. And the main thing is they have gigantic talents to match their statues. And on top of that, they are sweet, humble, and kind. Lordy I love my Home Free Boys.

    As for their not having let you down yet, I'd bet big bucks (if I had 'em) they never will. I, like most of the folks here, I'm guessing, have listened to a ton of their music, and I've yet to hit one I didn't enjoy and admire, and so many of them have gone beyond that and just knocked me off my butt with their amazingness.
    When you watch the videos in which they're interacting, I'm guessing you'll get a feel for why they seem likely to stick together longer than a lot of other groups-- they seem to really like, respect each other, and just have a great time together, and everything I've read, plus interviews and such, seems to corroborate that...and it's reflected in their music.

    As mentioned in the comments already, the rabbit-hole is a reference to Lewis Carroll’s book. Chapter 1 is entitled “Down the Rabbit-Hole” and contains this quote; Think of how well it applies to winding one’s way deeper into a subject. "The rabbit-hole went straight on like a tunnel for some way, and then dipped suddenly down, so suddenly that Alice had not a moment to think about stopping herself before she found herself falling down a very deep well.” I enjoy your personality - you seem very well-suited to do reactions. You think on your feet very well, also. Your good looks make it easy to watch. Only one criticism I can see - Your video clips need to be considerably louder.

    "Rabbit hole" is a term that means there is a deep dive and a LOT to see during that dive.
    Yes, it's an 'Alice in Wonderland' reference that describes a long and quite stimulating fall into material that is not simple, that's usually intricate, and is related only by category.
    An ordinary rabbit hole looks on the surface like just a hole in the dirt, so giving up no secrets and no indication of the treasures stored there. It's entering it that takes you to a mind-blowing repository of those treasures. The term also indicates something that is experienced as a seemingly unending stream of fascinating or exciting components.
    Home Free is one such rabbit hole; so is Billy Joel, and so is Weird Al Yankovic.
    For Home Free, I recommend their original song "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget" and their cover of "All About That Bass".

It's hard to remember that there are NO instruments - it's entirely vocal. BTW, 3 of them are also song writers, so there are lots of originals. They tour 150-200 shows a year, so there are also lots of live (audience taken) videos as well. Fall down the rabbit hole - it's a great trip!

    When you took that sip of Gatorade, I must confess my 1st thought was, "Yup, he's gonna need that hydration for this video!" 😂😂😂

    I just ran through all 3 of your HF reactions. I love it! One you might like is Thinking Out Loud/ Let’s get it on. Yes, they mashed up Ed Sheeran and Marvin Gaye. A cool thing about the video is it was done in one take with the camera in the middle of the room and they all move around it. Fun to watch.

    Kathy here - I don't know if you know this song, originally released by Percy Sledge. But these guys do it justice. This was done during the pandemic, which is why the guys are in the boxes, as they are not in the same city, much less state!

    I love when Austin does that growl at the end.. Sing it Sweetie and btw.. nothing better than your shirt. Female voices of all times.. just off the top of my head right now.. and I've been drinking.. Whitney, Celine, Barbra.. and always the greats of Motown.. I'm a country Girl and I feel like I just disrespected Aretha.. I didn't mean too.. truly.
