- Hi, guys! This year's San Diego Comic Con is now over and it's time for me to share my shared exclusive (and also limited) Funko Pop haul + hunting video. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to include mail-in order items in this video due to shipping time but I still have so much to share with you all. The process was tiring but so worth it!!

I agree I also hate when people are greedy, especially to make a profit. A lot a time here in Massachusetts with coupons or other popular items they limit how many each person can purchase, which naturally doesn’t stop some from going to every store but it may be helpful if they implemented this technique for collectables and stuff like that. Also regarding the Dorbz yes manically is an actual word just pronounced ( man ick lee)

Exactly the reason why i stopped collecting funko pops. Many people just overpricing on the market. I refuse to give this people money. So sad for the many people who are unable to finish their collections because of greedy people. Glad you got yours!!
This sounds like trying to get BTS tickets 😂 we went to a Starbucks for better WiFi and had 3 computers and 3 mobile devices set up 😆 we didn’t get tickets right when they came out because they sold out in 2 minutes (not an exaggeration the statistics literally say so) but, 2 days later a bunch of people let go of some of their tickets and we got 2nd row!!! I AM SO HAPPY! 😱 glad that you guys got most of what you wanted! ❤️ Love you two and how cute your common hobby is!

I didn't even know there was a Moaning Myrtle and Nearly Headless Nick Funko Pop 😱😅 I doubt they'll have them at my Barnes & Noble, but I should be going there soon so I'll have to check!

Moaning Myrtle was Hot Topic and she unfortunately is sold out online and in stores as far as I know. But Hot Topic has sometimes done restocks of their con exclusives at a later date so it doesn't hurt to keep checking.
I went to my Barnes & Noble yesterday and they still had some of the Nearly Headless Nick pops.

The nearly headless Nick came out at the very beginning of this month. I just found out that they had moaning myrtle and black lady from sailor 🌙 at hot topic but it's sold out online and their selling out fast in the stores. I'm actually going to see if they have it online at barnes and noble since I don't go to the store much.

Glad to see there are other "crazy" collectors like me. :) I stayed up until 4 am that night trying to get Pops online and then lined up at 7 am for Wreck it Ralph and Felix which sold out online. But I had to have it! Actually had fun talking to other collectors not scalpers in line while I was waiting.

I'm glad you guys were able to get all of your wants! I used to feel the same way you do about flippers because it would be nice if collectors or just regular people could get the Pops they want. But I also try to have compassion for the flippers because we don't know their story. They might flip Pops because it's something they are able to do to help support their family. I know not everyone's intentions are pure and sadly we can't do anything about that so I try to not judge because I just don't know. 💖💖
The thing about Funko Pops is that the sticker is EVERYTHING. The “Funko 2018 Summer Convention Limit Edition” isn’t a true limited edition. Those stickers say you can get them anywhere during convention center season, they’re the “basic edition” for summer. What you want to look for is the Funko limited edition sticker that says, “San Diego Comic-Con International 2018 Exclusive Funko Limited Edition” and those they may look the same, but there is subtle differences on the Pops. What you have aren’t at all SDCC 2018 exclusives, not saying you’re clickbaiting with this title and video. Just pointing out that there are differences and the stickers are everything. That’s where the value lays. If you aren’t able to get those then what you have are a good alternatives, but don’t say that they’re SDCC 2018 Limited Exclusives because they are not. Take a look for yourself, see why certain pops with certain stickers cost more than others. It’s because those are the real exclusives not the alternatives.
Yes, I understand that sticker is everything to some Funko Pop collectors. It's actually mind boggling to me that a simple sticker can make such difference in prices - tripling the price easily. I love the Pops for their design so not having those stickers don't bother me. I know you said you weren't saying that I was clickbaiting with the title - thank you for that because I was not :) I do have LIMITED ones coming in the mail which will be in part 2. Since this was going to be 2 part series, I thought I'd share the same title with that. ^^ I really appreciate you taking time to comment your thoughts. Conversations like this is needed amongst collectors and in youtube channel community :)

Saw tons of scalpers (white males 40 years old+) buying 5 Tamatoas each at Box Lunch. They couldn't even name the character. They just said "I'll take 5 of the crab." My mall also has these ladies in their 60s who are scalpers and love to ask people waiting in line what Pops they are picking up to see what's popular to flip and then buy all those. They bought tons of Unhooded Mickey that day which I don't think will be that profitable for them.
I didn't realize how limited the sdcc funko are. I bought the black lady without thinking about it. I was browsing the store looking for the pale mam funko, saw black lady and decided why not
Luckily me and my wife got everything we wanted this year except metallic Whis. Just this morning we got gold chrome Vegeta off Toy Tokyo :D

Yea last year was super discouraging trying to get my sdcc funko pops, I went to two different barnes and nobles for flocked tiger and both ran out of every sdcc pop they had and then on top of that their website crashed multiple times. I like going to stores to pick mine out rather than buying online. Oh and Ebay sellers are ridiculous with the sdcc funko products!!!

As a pop collector myself I find it completely frustrating when I see people do that. That I try my best to shop online when it releases or pre-order at GameStop. Once in a while I’ll go on eBay for Disney grails.

I was hoping to see if you got the SAGA Ghus in pjs funko. Saga is a comic book series that is out of this world. You have no clue how much I wish I could get that pop.

I love the way this video was put together! I'm glad you guys got everything you wanted! I missed out on the Spastik Plastik unfortunately and that was one of the ones I wanted the most! I had a lot of trouble with Penguin as well but I got him! Also Amazon items went up while I was shopping at Barnes lol so I had to be quick with my hands full 🤣🤣

Yes I did seen flippers. I do see them at my Target store time to time. I know who they are because I see them take alot of the same pops all the time. It's sad people do that. I'm a new collector. I been doing since July last year.
Those are really nice. That's so unfortunate that you ran into those scalpers at the store. I think it's even more sad that they used their kids to do that. I have a question if you don't mind. There weren't many that I wanted this year but I did get Nearly Headless Nick (I also have one of the regular ones with a glowing head), Moaning Myrtle, and Organization 13 Mickey. The last two are still on order and I can't wait to receive them. The only one I didn't get was Pepe le pew because I wasn't able to go to the store that morning. Oh well, you can't have it all. Moaning Myrtle was my top must have so I'm excited about that one.
GIIIIIRRRRRL. The same thing happened to us here. We actually got to go to SDCC (and I had a time slot for the funko line but late late laaaate in the day) but we drove 2 hours home to get into the HT line at the mall. We were #3 and #4 in line but not 5 minutes later, 5 people showed up as a group. These people along with the first 2 got together and were already talking business, thinking we didn't speak Spanish and were estimating how much they made during presales and how much they would make that weekend. It was so conspicuous... just the audacity. Ughhh. We bought our limit (5 of everything that was considered a hot ticket/fast selling/high value item) and sold them at cost to people we knew in the back of the line. People who wanted them. We went to Gamestop and sold them to our friends working there. We brought some back to the people we were staying with in San Diego. We've made all of it back/broke even and the best thing?? We screwed over the flippers and they had to refund money for the presales they couldn't fulfill. BEST. FEELING. EVER.
OMG! That. Is. Awesome!!! I love that you were able to help the other collectors who otherwise wouldn't have been able to get the pops they wanted. I honest wished I knew the family I saw were flippers before. If I had known, I would've grabbed 2 Kraglins just so that I could pass them to the guys behind me who were there ONLY for Kraglin.
DOLLASTIC ★ We're always on the lookout for way to help other fellow collectors, it's kind of a personal mission for us now. Just this morning we made 2 new friends at Target when we were all waiting to get Pikachu. I could tell they were collectors so now we're following each other on IG so that we can help each other out on future releases in our area!! 😄😄 one of the pops we missed out on was Kraglin but it looks like that ship has passed. So happy to see that you and Ryan got exactly what you wanted!! We brought home over 30 pops that entire week so we can't complain haha

I don’t have any problem with flippists because I’m Spanish and we have almost no access to exclusive pops lol, unless you buy from the internet. But our timeline isn’t the same so the release hours aren’t accessible anyway most of the time. It’s also quite uncommon to find chases :(
But I can imagine that it’s very annoying to see them buy the pops you want when you know they’re just going to sell them for an extremely high price.

its crazy. absolutely no scalpers in my city. its kind of strange lol. the people who usually buys things out are rich families buying presents. they usually buy in bulk.
I casually browse the Funko Pops but I have seen hard core collectors come to the store I work for and they are so into them lol ..literally the only ones I have is a Donald Duck and Winnie the Pooh lol

I went to game stop a family of like 6 all cane in and got all the soldier 76 and sweeper bot pops i got sooo mad i had to go to a new game stop 5 miles away just to get my pops i wanted. *I JUST HATE FLIPPERS*

I'm a fairly new Funko Pop collector. I never even thought about scalpers or flippers. From what it looks like, they're not even in it for the fun of collecting, they're just in for the profit. Those are some of the worst types of people
It's interesting that you guys have a 2 per person rule, we had one per person.
Best thing about not being in America, no exclusives! everything is sold in one place! I'm super happy, got my chrome Vegeta, which I was wanting the most.
The funny thing is though, people complain about flippers, but I can assure you so many "collectors" flipped as well.

I'm still missing a few of the Overwatch ones for my boyfriend, but I got my two highest priorities....almost twice on accident. :'D Dark Lady and Dead Yamcha were my top needs. LOL I would love to get the Wreck-it-Ralph ones but I'm trying really hard to cut back on Pop figures. Also, I really recommend you guys check out Scott Pilgrim! It's a movie my teens at work love to quote and there's a book series they all loved too! :)
