Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed this fan-made Khaenri’ah battle theme! Since the upload of the metal remix of Fontaine’s battle theme, I have saw several comments to do a fan made of Khaenri’ah battle theme and I thought it was an interesting idea! After covering Fontaine’s battle theme, I gained a lot of knowledge and used some of the elements in this battle theme such as the string runs etc. I wanted it to sound as Genshin as possible while also incorporating my style to the theme. I hope it doesn’t sound too far from that ‘Genshin’ sound! Since it is a battle theme of Khaenri’ah, I wanted it to sound more serious and dramatic with the usage of a lot of brass elements. There is nothing more to say as we do not know how Khaenri’ah would look like by the time we reach the place. I hope the overall sound of this theme is able to allow you to imagine Khaenri’ah. I also hope that this theme is an improvement from my previous battle themes! Once again, I hope you all enjoyed it and have an absolutely great day everyone. Take care! - Farabi Hasan
Unlike the battle theme of Celestia, which felt like something cosmic, powerful and unattainable, Khaenri’ah battle theme feels like something empty, forgotten, crying... Ancient ruins of a once great civilization, buried underground, forgotten by everyone. And lonely waiting for the hour of revenge!
Now this is why I love fan music. The sheer amount of expression and creativity in this *alone* makes it feel like a top-tier OST! For a Khaenri'ah fan-made theme, and a battle one at that, it just feels like you're at the end of the world, fighting till the last breath. Absolutely beautiful! Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be looping this while writing my stories and imagining badass cutscenes.

I do get Khaenri’ah vibes from this. It's hard to believe we are at Genshin's climax with Natlan coming soon; Snezhnaya coming out next year and Khaenri’ah hopefully in 2026. As for as the story goes, it's been great so far. I hope Khaenri’ah will have an epic ending.
In the land of Teyvat, 'neath celestial might, Khaenriah once bathed in a radiant light. A glorious kingdom, hidden below, Where secrets whispered, in shadows they'd grow. Underneath stars, a realm so divine, Khaenriah's glory, like jewels would shine. But destiny weaves its threads so thin, A tale of splendor, now draped in chagrin. The Abyssal whispers, a subtle bane, Creeping through Khaenriah, like a shadowy chain. Once proud spires crumbled, towers fell, In the heart of Teyvat, where sorrows dwell.
Words simply can't describe how incredible this is. The leitmotif early on, the choir throughout (especially when it follows the photon of fluctuation leitmotif in the second half), the overall "final" feel this track shines with just- WOW. You've outdone yourself once more.
I love all the leitmotifs and vibes you can recognize from other Abyss-related/ancient ruined places, like the Nameless Ruins in the Chasm and Enkanomiya! The prominent inclusion of Photon of Fluctuation, which at this point kind of feels like the Traveler's theme (or even just the struggle of hope against fear), makes this feel like a truly difficult battle. The most hostile realm to conquer at the penultimate stage of our journey across Teyvat; the remnants of a kingdom weighed down with the sin and tragedy of past mistakes. Thank you for uploading!
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words! I referenced a lot of Abyss-related motifs as well as mimicking the tone of the music similar to it. I am glad it was conveyed well and you enjoyed it!

Amazing! Hasan, you captured the atmosphere perfectly! For some reason the music reminds me a bit of James Cameron's Avatar) By the way, have you already completed the Caribert story quest? If so, did it affect your perception of Khaenri’ah in any way? I just thought the music had changed. Became more dramatic and empathetic, rather than dark and cold, as in the videos about Harbingers and Dain. As if the battle is not with someone, but for someone.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the theme! Yes, I have done Caribert's story quest and it did affect my perception of Khaenri'ah in a way. I do know that what happened in Khaenri'ah was tragic but there's little knowledge about what actually happened in detail, only the bigger picture was told. Caribert's story quest caught me off guard and I think it was really nice how Hoyo introduce us to more Khaenri'ah lore directly through one of the people. It adds a new perspective towards the nation and I felt more empathy towards it. I think that was why this battle theme sounded more 'dramatic and empathetic' as what you said ahaha
I like how powerful your cover is. With that, I would imagine the Traveler fighting against the hilichurls, abyss mages, heralds, lectors, baptists, mechs and other dangerous enemies. I would imagine the other characters like Kokomi, Ayaka, Collei, Fischl, Yoimiya, Nilou, Tartaglia, Itto and even Dainsleif help him fight. And later on, Klee will show up out of nowhere with Diona, Qiqi, Sayu, Yaoyao and other playable characters who are kids (including those not shown in the game yet) and help the Traveler fight against the monsters. The iniquitous baptist: Huh? A group of kids? Aren't you too young to venture into Khaenri'ah? Klee: Well, I am his bestest friend. Master Jean allowed us to help my bestest friend. Yaoyao: We are here to stop you guys from invading our home lands. Aether: *smiles back at them*, it is a good thing you came to help us. Paimon: Now we are more powerful than ever! Dainsleif: Well, these kids are humble. They will never side on you. The wicked torrent abyss herald: Is that so? So be it. The frost fall abyss herald: You also insist for an audience? Very well. NOW DIE! 7 minutes later... Yaoyao: Finish them off with your bomb Klee! Klee: Boing boing BOOM! The iniquitous baptist: AAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!! The other abyss monsters: NOOOOOOO!!!!!! AAAAAARGH!!!!!!! STOP PLEASE!!!! AAAAAAGH!!!!!
I see a smaller gaming company has recognized you, but this would be so much nicer if this was in the actual game. Anyways since Furina most likely won't be a boss as I was hoping, if they bring back Labyrinth Warriors as a Simulated Universe type game mode with unique rewards, maybe she could be a unique boss at the end of a world like Star Rail is doin as an Archon Challenge. I was thinking if you can make a 2 phase version, the first phase could have a similar vibe to Ervalen's from Epic 7 who has a the same voice actor as Lyney and Blade, and the second phase when she unleashes her full power the vibe could switch up to how Yanqing's boss theme is
Thank you for giving this theme a listen, Sean! I hope you enjoyed it! As for your suggestion, that is indeed interesting. I've made a Focalors battle theme in the past but that was without any knowledge on how she looks like and her personality. I'll definitely take your suggestion into account and hopefully in the future I can deliver a 2 phase battle theme of Furina. Also, who knows in the 4.1 update we might get to know Furina more and what her motifs are!
Well this sounds kinda heroic, I'd imagine khaenrhiah as a creepy place as its already destroyed long ago and nothing but hillichurl exists and royal guards who are the affected by the immortality curse. Nonetheless its still really good for a fan made theme .
Uwoh it’s the real Focalors! Please come home at 4.2!🙏🙏 Jokes aside ahaha thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it and glad you enjoyed it!

Hey farabi! Great masterpiece as always! What software do you use for this??
Heya there! Thank you so much and I'm glad you enjoyed the theme! The software I use is Logic Pro X!
Just like Khaenri'ah,i fell to my knees due to it's beautifulness
ahaha thank you, Yozora! Glad you enjoyed the theme!
You have the best fanmade themes, you did this one really good im really amazed i cant stop listening
Uwoh it’s the real Focalors! Please come home at 4.2!🙏🙏
Jokes aside ahaha thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it and glad you enjoyed it!
