Really admire you Tim ,people live a life of ‘perfection’ and you are living proof that no matter what ,you make the most of anything and everything. Don’t change timbo - your a legend
Shouldn't you have done this check BEFORE buying the truck?? 😂 On the plus side, I will now tune in frequently to see if this rust bucket can be salvaged 😂
You know what, I was feeling down, depressed, shit, low, but your videos are just full of happiness, joy, smiles, I used to be a truck mechanic on volvos for 10 years and all them terminology coming through, thank you for picking me up with you just being you
Hi Tim really looking forward to the ‘restoration’ series I can tell it’s going to be great entertaining content! Doesn’t look too bad at all, being a HGV technician myself I can say I’ve seen a lot worse. If I was you I’d start with the small inexpensive things like air leaks and lights, once the little improvements start you’ll get the bug and wont want to stop! Looking forward to seeing the progress mate keep it up!
Sean's voice makes me imagine if Richard Ayoade was a lorry mechanic. Tim, you've bought a beautiful unit that just needs a tonne of TLC. I wish you luck and can't wait to see she looks when she's restored.
Weird to go back to this video and see just how much everything have changed in just under 2 years. Looking forward to seeing it on the road again. Was this the first time you and Shaun met as well?
Im pretty sure they always knew eachother, like from childhood. Also this truck isnt the r series he has now i think, his has a tag and this is midlift. Again not sure tho, mightve been changed
I'm actually thinking of buying my own truck in the future. Found a 2016 6x2*4 Volvo FH16 550 for 1.3 million SEK (Roughly £110k). White with red details, 385/65R22.5 on front and tag, 315/80R22.5 on the driving axle. Good tires, roof bar with both small LEDs mounted into the bar as well as three LED bars on top of it, LED lollipop lights under the mirrors, painted low sun visor with small LEDs, eight small LEDs in the grill, chrome door handles, 420 000km on the clock, passed last inspection two months ago with flying colors, but the company that owns the truck wants to update its fleet to something with slightly bigger engines.
A video of Marcus cooking his food will make many mouths water, just an idea get Marcus to cook on your truck when it's done. You didn't show yourself sticking trucker tim stickers everywhere while at lombardos.
Might see you Monday morning , I'm delivering to a building site on Wisbech road in march , Goole maps says it's near your yard , if I see you I'll give you some tones and a tang , I'll be in a long wheelbase iveco daily pick-up, don't let the problems get you down , there's always light at the end of the tunnel
My nephew lives in the country and is obsessed with trucks so driving him to the m1 today. He loves your videos and you are the main reason he loves them. ANY chance you are at Leicester forest east today ??? Or bardon industrial estate??? Long shot I know

Hi Tim great video as always,at least you know how much work it needs, can't wait to follow the journey all the best with it, best wishes to you and your family Look forward to your next video
That analogue tacho reminds me of my dad (retired now!) and riding with him, he used to have 100's of those discs all hand written up for every day and scribbled on by the tacho needle. Good times! Love the truck Tim, the ugly duckling!
Your channel has just popped up on my feed. I know a guy running a Y reg 530, it puts a shift in better than anything new \8/ 💪🏼💪🏼💨💨💨 Almost forgot 😂 my brother drives a 4 series 580 that him and his boss restored a few years ago. I’m not class 1 but been brought up around wagons all my life, love em
Hi Tim new sub here n first vlog watched, saw ur thumbnail, Blue S4 V8 n had to take a look, seeing inside cab brought on a wave of Nostalgia like never before, stick shift, overhead front bunk, walnut dash, V8 rumble, like an old pair of comfy slippers!❤️ looking forward to seeing this project completed! What an awesome sound your scania makes I love it I can’t wait until Peterborough truckfest to see it. If you can pay swedefest at stonham barns in September it’s a truck show dedicated to scania and Volvo trucks it’s an awesome show
I’m a big follower Tim, keep up the fab work. This is going to be an awesome project! I’m local to you so keep my eyes out when I’m around the March area. Watching you makes me think about getting my C+E. Many fond memories about being out with my old man in the holidays! Keep being you buddy 👍🏻
What a bodge putting in an old drive axle in place of a standard tag axle 😂 I’d imagine done as someone wanted double wheels on the back. ABS sensor hanging around on the OSR too lol
Love this Tim. You are a real inspiration and you arr a credit to all HGV drivers. You helped me to learn stuff from your Videos for me to do my HGV License. Keep up the good work
Great video as always bud. Not as bad as I first thought. TLC and she'll be running. Hopefully you'll get her a show trailer too. Have a matching set & maybe turn that into a item that people can buy & collect. Would love something like to have beside my Eddie Stobart collection
The misfortune of the issues has given way to what will become some interesting videos for this channel, its not everyday we get to see the inner workings of a tractor unit.
Really admire you Tim ,people live a life of ‘perfection’ and you are living proof that no matter what ,you make the most of anything and everything. Don’t change timbo - your a legend

I am fully committed to this channel now.
Well done Tim.
Tooooooonesssss
Seeing that tacho card was a blast from the past, as I worked for a company that analysed them... 🙂
Sean's voice makes me imagine if Richard Ayoade was a lorry mechanic. Tim, you've bought a beautiful unit that just needs a tonne of TLC. I wish you luck and can't wait to see she looks when she's restored.
17:28 be careful with blasting underneath as it can mess with wiring

You can do this Tim, what potential!!! Not too bad mechanically, general wear and tear stuff, looking forward to the transformation 👍

Every dog deserves a good home and that one has one now, can’t wait to see how it progresses 👍
That truck needed you Tim, it's worked hard for 21 years now it needs Timmy loving..
Couldn't agree more Steve!!
Yes finally a new video on the scania
Inspection should have flipped the cab up to check everything in there. That’s a mistake he made Inspection is under and all interior and engine
Can't wait to se the final finished project tim. You have done well
It’s a lot of things to do when it’s all done it would look amazing Tim
Respect to Shaun he knows his stuff. loving this project already
A video of Marcus cooking his food will make many mouths water, just an idea get Marcus to cook on your truck when it's done. You didn't show yourself sticking trucker tim stickers everywhere while at lombardos.
It's a good learning experience for him and a good project truck witth plenty of content for RUclips. Turns out the truck is really good purchase
Love the new truck Tim, I’ve always preferred older trucks to newer ones and the Scania 4 series has really grew on me!
I feel your pain with the heat. I was in my bin wagon Monday and Tuesday no air con had to go old school with the 12v fan.

She's nice , just some repairs and new parts 🤜🤛💪
Love the videos Tim. Never really been interested in trucks and wagons until I’ve seen your content 💪🏼 now I’m wondering should I leave IT and get my Class 1?!
Take a week off and drive around in someone's truck for a week then decide.
@@bobfunk5055 not so easy to just “drive around in someone’s truck for a week” if you don’t know anyone in the industry. Man says he works in IT
But yes i would recommend. I used to be a welder-fabricator, but I got my Class 1 and I’ve never looked back
All the best with the truck, Tim! Look forward to seeing its progress.
She will be tidy done tim can't wait to see the progress on her 👌👌

Fingers crossed to see you again at truckfest Peterborough with it Tim! Good luck!
Nice one! Relieved the truck's not too bad, but a year to complete? Ouch! Looking forward to Tuesday's vlog.
Can’t wait to see this truck make more progress, I hope them pockets are deep Tim 🤣it’s the only thing what scares me about becoming an owner driver, sick content 💪🏼
Don't close the tacho when you don't have a paper or plastic disk in it. It will damage the needles!
Love it! That'll tow a load old school 530 engine fairplay!!
Enjoyed that Tim, look forward to seeing her at the shows
Looking forward to seeing this scania 4 series at truckfest peterborough next year Looking forward for the process of the build!!

Cant wait for the old girl to be done. But I hope you can drive the 4 series with the new trailer, because it had looked so good. Cheers!

Happy Friday Timbo loving the new truck ❤️!
The misfortune of the issues has given way to what will become some interesting videos for this channel, its not everyday we get to see the inner workings of a tractor unit.
When your doing delivery’s I love the driver’s POV
Plenty to do but all in all not too bad. Most of this you would find on a older car as well if you'd buy one as a project 👍
Looking forward to seeing the future videos on this truck 🤠
this is where it all begins, shaun is a top bloak from the get go!!!
