I started with my 3 corvettes to attack his 3 corvettes, which were near Hamburg, but my corvettes took more damage. Is this normal? My corvettes have 46.9/60 hit points and his have 48/60, so normally if I attack first I take more damage, right?
Ships don't fire on the move, probably his were stationary and yours took the first hit. Then yours did a little bit less dmg to him because they were damaged when they fired.

In damage distribution there’s something called the random factor that gives random damages sometimes to keep the game a bit variable and unexpected
