This video truly helped heal a little bit of the part of me that hurt so much from my lice experience. When i was 14, i got lice from someone at school and i told my mom about it. But my mom felt too embarrassed to go to the pharmacy and buy the lice shampoo because she said then people would either think she had lice or that her kid had lice. I didnt know what else to do, so i washed my hair 3 times every single day hoping that the ph level of my washed scalp would help to make the lice die down. After a while, my dad went to buy a small bottle of the lice shampoo for me to use. I had only used it 1 time before my mom used it to wash her own hair because she was afraid that i might have given her lice as well. That was one of the moments in my life when i realized that my mother will never prioritize me above herself. After saving up my lunch money for some time, i went and bought myself more lice shampoo and kept it to myself. This video made me feel like the 14 year old me was finally taken care of the way i should have been :)
