Exactly 👍🏼. I’m thinking about adding a rear window as well. That will help reduce the noise even more. It would be nice if the factories took into consideration noise levels when designing these machines. They’re not bad for short periods of time, but when long trail rides with passengers, the noise gets overwhelming.
Dont know why manufacturers dont try to make them quiter. Whats the sense of a side x side if you cant talk with your passenger
Yeah, exactly. I’m looking into a quieter exhaust as well. Any little drop in decibels helps. Anyone have an exhaust recommendation?
3dB is an appreciable difference. 3 might seem like a small number but dB is a log scale so that did make a difference!

I would think a added benefit would to help block the heat coming off the engine as well.
