Walsall went toe to toe with Leicester but were dumped out the cup by a deflected goal.
Nice touch getting Dean to have a chat, entertaining 👍
I reminisced with him. I used to tease him when he often missed the kick off when he was youth team coach.
As it was a "sell out" today, and the announcer said at the end of the game that the attendance was 10,200, is it not time that web-sites that cite our stadium's capacity as 11,300 (and it's most of them) update their info? The whole team to a man played very well today, and I would give a shout out to Maddox who, for me, was excellent, as this was the perfect opposition for his particular skills to shine, although I have to give my MOTM to Owen Evans who had possibly his best game in a Walsall shirt today! A big thank you to Trivela, Michael Flynn and all the players and staff for giving us back our football club. Great coverage again from Simon and Steven. UTS
Cheers. There were some seats used for segregation but not 1,000. There was the odd seat free. We've had 11,000 in before🤔
As for the game, Maddox did well as you say the opposition suited him.
Owen Evans deserved motm, some excellent saves. White was close for me. He got his head to virtually every corner. Low made a stake for a start on Tuesday, very impressive first start.
@@WalsallFanTV Yes, I was surprised when Low got the nod over McKentee but he more than justified his inclusion. Could be a real find?

Great video guys. Nice to see Dean Smith giving his thoughts and Craig Shakespeare behind him talking to Leigh Pomlett. A great player was Craig with a wicked left foot. Very proud of everyone yesterday, they gave their all. UTS
Had a chat with Shakey too. Great player in his day and had a great coaching career aswell.
Proud of the team, good solid performance, undone by a deflection. Had a couple of chances but didnt take them. Made a Premier team look rather ordinary. Ihenacho and Daka aside didn't see anything special. Maddison and Tielemans were particularly unimpressive.

Nice to see you, Steven, and Ben this afternoon Simon. Thought it was a cracking cup-tie, and just what the F.A.Cup used o be like,for us oldie Saddlers’ supporters. The whole team battled very well against a good Premier League side, albeit going through a rather patchy spell at the moment. Shame that it was Leicester who had that bit of luck, with the cruel deflection for their goal, rather than the Saddlers. Keep up the good work with your Videos, which are always informative and well put together.
