...and I completely forgot to mention: Declutter Your Home in 15 Minutes a Day Workbook available for pre-order (and on special) THIS Friday Nov. 26, 2021!
I hope you have a great day!!! - Dawn
Hi Dawn!! Does your book ship to Canada?? I LOVE your channel so much and would love a copy of your book.
Mugs… I don’t know if Corky’s Restaurant is nation wide, they will take donations of mugs.
For a great gift to give people who love sending cards. But some cards and a book of stamps. I got this from a friend who tries to give me minimalist gifts. It was so thoughtful of her.
Where do we find Diana's jar ideas?
LOL 😂 loved your video! And your boots! I saw them when you broke the jar 🙈 where did you get those?
OMG ... the coat situation was too hilarious! "Is that my coat?" ... "I bought this one because I was freezing"
Such a sister thing which I can totally relate to. Thank you for keeping that in the video. The 2 of you and your non-rehearsed, natural sisterly reactions/conversations are very entertaining and authentic. I appreciate both of you immensely!
Me too! I laughed right out loud about the jacket. Isn't it great having a sister the same size(with a generous spirit)?🤗
Yes, we teachers do have plenty of mugs. 😁 BUT…a gift card for Dollar Tree is an AMAZING gift for any teacher. ❤️
This teacher agrees completely!😊
My daughter is a teacher and would love a gift card for Dollar Tree. She goes there a lot to get things for her students who are k-1st grade. What a great idea.
Yes for the gift card as a teacher!
I imagine so! Happiest I think we ever made a teacher is when we made a "cake" out of school supplies for the classroom
@@freshstartgreencleaning what a fantastic idea!!!
I like to put together either nursing home kits, or chemo bags from the dollar tree. Crossword puzzle books, mints, chapstick, the purse sized tissues like Diana bought, jigsaw puzzles (for nursing homes) and other things. They also have some great hardcover books sometimes. I love the inventor box idea! Such a great gift for children to love to built and create! 😍
Thanks! I’m saving this list!
What goes in your chemo kits ?
@@danarzechula3769 Chapstick or lip balm is very popular. Mints, water bottle, puzzle book and pen, those little pocket kleenex packs, hand sanitizer. Other things as I can afford them.
How kind of you to think of others in nursing homes and those undergoing chemo! I speak firsthand of what a blessing you offer! 🙏🏻
I think a day out with you ladies would be a blast! I was laughing at Diana just claiming your coat as her own but then you dropped the jar and I nearly spit my coffee out. Thanks for spreading smiles ☺️
My M-I-L had to stay at a nursing home for a couple of weeks while she was recovering from a fall. I went to Dollar Tree and bought her a whole bunch of small items -- socks, lotion, chap stick, puzzle books, snacks, etc. and wrapped up each item individually and put it all in a Dollar Tree plastic tote. I also included some other more expensive items. I told her that every day she could unwrap one item. I never imagined it would be such a hit. Not only did she love it, but the other residents all wanted to know what she had received that day. I also used this same idea for a small boy from church who was having to have a major surgery with a long recovery in the hospital. Blessings!
This is a fantastic idea!
I love this idea!!!
Excellent idea 👍😁
That’s one amazing idea!!
I know this has nothing to do with the Dollar Tree (haven’t been yet, it is still on my list to get storage baskets there as you recommend!) but yesterday was my now 7-year old’s birthday. Since last year, we have been doing “cook with Mama what you like to eat, a family outing and a little gift”. And yesterday, she didn’t get her favorite food as her little sister had a tummy bug. She thought it would be more considerate. She got one present (a music box) and pictures from her little sisters. She got to go to Barnes and Nobles with me to read and chose the simplest food for lunch - yet she smiled all day, had a marvelous day and was SO happy! Her 4-year old sister similarly a month ago. I have been decluttering our home (and my mother-in-law’s parallel) for the last 18 months and often feel so frustrated that things are not going faster, that our house is still a mess (we just moved, too), and yet my husband said to me last night “you know, our little girls’ attitude is a result of you minimizing, it is in their hearts and minds already and they are content, see it as your efforts (and watching and implementing what your friend, the Minimal Mom, says) paying off. - thank you for all your inspiration and passion to help Mamas like myself! 💐
I havent really started yet but I want this so bad for my daughter too! Good job mama💜
Haha I am laughing at how Diana is offended that Dawn broke her $1 mug but she stole Dawn's coat with no shame 😅 and Dawn being Dawn is like "oh well, I guess it's fine because I bought a new one"
They are Twins
Love all the ideas! The inventor's box is great. When my son was little I gave him a box full of tape on christmas. He always wanted tape. He would make things out of duct tape. Although one time I did find buzz lightyear taped to the ceiling fan and was circling the living room 😂😂
Thats hilarious!
Lol
🤣🤣
Memories!! It was amazing what we could create with paper towel tubes, rubber bands, duct tape, and permanent marker! 😂 Good times!
I found the yarn there to be the perfect amount to knit a hat! I've been donating hats to donate for chemo patients, and the yarn there is surprisingly soft and good quality!
That's so sweet of you and nice to know about the yarn.
I used 3 skeins to crochet a halter top for myself it looks amazing! Cant beat $3
I love to get our teachers and bus drivers gifts at random times through the school year. So I love to get the pack of 3 or 4 small plain brown gift bags, a box of candy or bar of fancy chocolate, and a Starbucks or Dairy Queen gift card. It ALWAYS makes their day and it's completely practical. Tissue paper is a great buy at Dollar Tree too!
You can also buy scarves to wrap gifts! I did this last year and decorated with some fresh pine sprigs. They looked so pretty 😍
Why???!! Why didn't I think of that?!!??!!
Great idea!! I've used blankets to wrap large gifts in the past, it's been a hit so far!
You mentioned the kids "spending day" every couple of weeks and them learning to save for better quality. I'd be interested in a video on how you teach your kids money management and how you relate it back to your minimalist lifestyle, if you haven't done one on that yet.
Yes I'd love a video on this!
Same
I buy the small Dawn dishsoap at Dollar Tree and then refill it from my HUGE Sam's Club bottle. It's so much easier to lift the smaller bottle (my Mom is 88 and the arthritis in her hands makes it impossible to life the Sam's Club bottle) I use Dawn instead of scouring cleanser (no vineagar needed! Dawn by itself is just fine!). Again, who wants to lug the huge Sam's Club bottle from room to room! I actually have multiple small bottles of Dawn everywhere I have sinks and tubs to clean in a cleaning caddy! I just refill as needed!
A good hack is to get a cheap soap dispenser with a pump and fill it with dish soap. It makes doing dishes just *that* much easier!
I do the same thing!
I always buy Mylar balloons at the dollar store-great gift for children that you don’t have to keep forever. 😉
Love you two! Thanks for sharing your joy!
YES! I can't believe how much they charge for balloons elsewhere!!!!
I just bought "number balloons " for my son's 18th birthday at the Dollar Tree. I actually bought a bunch of those balloons on a stick and a package of those wooden stakes for kabobs and I decorated the yard with those on his birthday. An inexpensive surprise after school :)
Oh my mil always does this too! My kids love it. :)
Yes! Balloons, party decor, cards and gift bags.
I’m surprised they still sell balloons. I used to manage a hospital gift shop and had to charge more to cover costs. Between the cost of helium and the helium shortage, my guess is they are losing money on selling balloons!
I’m so glad you mentioned teachers have more than enough mugs. My friends who are teachers want gift cards and cash.
Nice pens are also a winner. Pilot G2. I like .38!
Funny, I just got done telling my daughter that I'd love a mug like she has, with a pic of her family on it.
"are you wearing my coat??" 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 I'm dying
that was hysterical 🤣🤣🤣
As a teacher, I concur I have enough mugs given as gifts! When my kids were in school I had an old suitcase that I turned into a school project box. Kitchen towels and hot pads are great to purchase at the dollar store! No guilt throwing them away after the holiday!
When my husband was in ER twice in three days I needed to fill my Love language of helping people, I asked front desk staff what treat they might like? After they believed I was truly asking them as a thank you they gave me their thoughts, chocolate bars, soda, etc. I started at near by Dollar Store and was so pleasantly surprised that I found everything there, even cookies and cream chocolate bars!❤️❤️❤️
Love the idea of gifting greeting cards, stamps, maybe a fun new pen. My Grandma would LOVE that! (And even addressing and stamping the envelopes, since her sight and handwriting aren't what they used to be.)
It is a great gift.
Ooh now there’s an idea, my Mum is embarrassed about writing cards as her Parkinson’s has affected her handwriting. She worries about the addresses too so if I did that for a gift it would be great!!
Little known fact. I used to work for American Greetings and many of the cards we placed in retailers at full price ($3.99, $4.99) are the same as what is placed in The Dollar Tree. Sometimes they reduce the amount of foil accents but the card quality is the same. Not floppy and cheap feeling!
Good to know. I pretty much switched over to Dollar Tree cards. Even though I could afford the $5 cards it just didn't seem to make much sense to pay $5 for a card that someone is going to look at & then toss aside.
I love Dollar Tree greeting cards!!
I've enjoyed your videos for a couple of years and appreciate all your great tips! I cut soap pads in half or quarters and use 1 piece for whatever small scrub job I have then toss it. Saves having to store a slimy pad that ends up with little soap for the next use. Also, when I decluttered my home office, I made office supply boxes for my college-bound daughters with DT plastic shoeboxes. All the extra staplers, scissors, tape, paperclips, highlighters, pens, etc went in, then I added postage stamps, envelopes, and cards. They've used them for several years now and like the "portable" office.
I love the stick up round lights for my closets and under cupboards ! Battery operated, and they really help
I love you two! So last year I had surgery in December so we had a scaled back Christmas with a small tree and this year my hubby asked if we want to do the same thing because it was peaceful! YAY!
I love what you talked about- your kids’ spending day- would love a video on how you teach your kids about money
Please accept this Rabbi’s infinite, heartfelt blessings for a safe and expedient delivery and many, good years of happiness and good health for you and your son. You are a lovely, strong, and wise woman and these qualities will serve you well in motherhood. Your son is so lucky to have you as a guiding light. 💕
I just love you sisters sharing your lives with us!
Who doesn't love your sister banter and antics!!! ❤ thanks for sharing all your tips and fun ways
I seriously laughed so hard I cried with 1st the coat and them “breaking the mug” (really the jar) 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
My family are wondering why in laughing so uncontrollably. Swing up the bag so happy dropping the jar. Happy thanks giving from Ireland 🇮🇪!! 🙂
The coat got me too. 🤣
ME TOO!!
Oh my gosh! Me too!
Legit! I almost woke up my whole family laughing so hard!!!
Pizza sauce and Himalayan pink salt are two of my favorite buys at the Dollar Tree!
Not a dollar store box idea but I made an inspiration box for a friend of mine in college. She was an art major and was frustrated with not feeling inspired in her projects. So over Christmas I gathered some really cool natural and found items that my mom and I had saved over the years and put them together for her. My mom was an art teacher so she had lots of great items she used in class. Things like moss, interesting pieces of weathered wood, wasps nest, some really cool shells… I’m sure there was more than that but it’s all I can recall now. She appreciated it so much in that season in her life. Years later she gifted it back to me and thanked me for encouraging her. I still have the box and plan on sharing it with my kids this year so they can get ideas for a box of their own.
Preschool teacher here: Dollar Tree bubbles are fantastic! And they used to have some good wooden 12 pc puzzles.
Talking about the holiday season and Christmas being difficult for some people…my church does this special service on a Saturday night mid-December called “Blue Christmas” specifically to acknowledge and validate people’s grief and let them know that it’s okay. It’s absolutely beautiful and I wish more churches would offer something like that!
Diana and your coat, you ladies just make me smile.
I like to buy the Betty Crocker scissors which I use in the kitchen, I buy some of the disposable aluminum pans to cook and then toss, and the plastic containers for organizing. Also the newspaper is a dollar but anywhere else the daily paper is 1.50 and the Sunday paper is at least 2 bucks.
The brownie mix is awesome. I pkg makes 8×8. It's not so sweet. Love this video
Wow, your Dollar Tree is so much more organized and neat than ours in Seattle! I love your comments at the end about "you get what you pay for." It's important to take that teaching moment with your kids. It is fun to find great deals but most of the stuff is from China or imported; however I do shop their occasionally - especially for their foam poster board, helium balloons, and party supplies.
I remember the first video you did dawn ,you have come such a long way ,love how you keep me focused on what is important and how decluttering is a on going
What a great tip to wear gloves to fluff the Christmas tree. My hands and arms always get so scratched up. Thank you.
My two opposing worlds collide. I love minimalism and the Dollar Tree, never thought I would see you there. Love it. Thank you. 💚🎄❤️
Years ago when dollar stores were just becoming popular, I bought my mom a bday card. She kept looking at it. Flipping it open to read the front. Finally she asked "Is this a joke?". The inside had Happy Mother's Day greetings in a bday card.🤣
🤣🤣
Years ago I walked into a discount store, this was before 99 and Dollar Tree. There was a Merry Christmas plaque, that was mis-spelled.
My boyfriend got his mom a card that said you’re like a mom to me inside. So his mom would write you’re like a son to me in his cards after that.
I got a diary from a pound shop (UK version of dollar tree) and a lot of dates were missing 🤣
@@jrcs1347 good one!
I LOVE the inventor’s box idea, my crafty daughter is going to be so excited to receive one this year! ❤️
I bought the scissors and they are a real bargain. I am a quilter and was amazed at how sharp they are and last forever. I found planter boxes last spring and have found so many unplanned uses for them. I had been searching for them and they were so expensive on Amazon and other local stores. I buy cookies and save them for company, chocolate covered grahams and windmill cookies keep forever, very handy to have on hand. The mugs are useful, have cute sayings, your idea of including mug cake kits are brilliant, especially for single people. Last year I found 1 ceramic square dish and keep checking back in case they have more, perfect for making French toast, looked for it elsewhere and it was around 20 dollars!
Awesome video! Love the ideas and the laughter between you and Diana 😊 Can you talk more about the spending day you do with your kids please?! I'd love to see how you teach your kids to deal with money (how they acquire it, where they spend, etc.). My kids are 7 and under and we're just about to enter that phase. Would love to hear your ideas!
Gift cards are my favorite gifts to receive!
4:57 frosting! I actually go to the DT and spend about $10 getting frosting and the graham crackers, plus a random assortment of candies to make those "gingerbread houses" you do!
Yes, me too!
I am doing the variety card packets this year. Thanks for the idea! I already bought them and sorted them out. They are a great inexpensive gift!
FOR THE INVENTORS BOX:::
ODDYSSEY OF THE MIND has different creative peompts for kids to put stuff together with office supplies, and they have different levels for different ages, it would be great to include!
Sometimes its "make a tower to the ceiling with 4 items" or "make a monster who likes to (verb) (noun)"
I went to their website, but wasn’t sure how to navigate to the prompts. Any tips?
I live in Sr. housing and use Dollar Tree to make decorations for my apartment door for holidays or each season. Also, pre-COVID, we had entertainment in our dining room for major holidays. I always created my Halloween costume from what I already had, supplemented by items from the dollar store. I kept a strict limit of spending less than $10 total for my costume. It was a lot of fun being creative and keeping within that budget - no guilt about spending too much on something that was temporary. P.S.: I don't buy junk, only name brand (ex. Utz chips) or definitely serviceable items from Dollar Tree. The greeting cards are good quality and unbeatably priced!
My son is 7 and loves wooden train tracks... But wooden houses to set up a town are really really expensive. He discovered the plastic Christmas village houses, churches, and businesses this year while we were home in the States on furlough. He went bananas over those to go with his wooden train set. They were lightweight, just the right size, and it was great that we could add fake candles to give them a real look... I'm praying that Dollar tree will continue to have these plastic cities available in the years to come. Especially with us living overseas. It's the perfect addition to his wooden train sets!
My favorite thing to get at the Dollar Store is containers!!! I’m a sucker for any clear container for organizing stuff.
"Diana, please step away from the mugs", LOL!! You two cracked me up in this video. Thanks for sharing, as always. :)
The greeting cards can be jazzed up with light touches of glitter. That little house would make a cute ornament too.
Glow sticks! My kids are 2 and 4. They love glow sticks. I also stock up on cheap toys or activities for rainy days or when daycare is closed.
Oh my Gosh!!! The cards as a gift and stamps!! Whyyyyy did I not think think this 🤔 postal worker here! I LOVE this. Thank you
Serving utinsels and bowls when going to a party, you can leave them behind. Also when making dishes for friends that are sick or have had babies use containers that don't have to be returned!
Tuesday has come around! I'm excited by the Christmas mugs, but must resist a purchase. Enjoy 😂!
I agree!!! ;)
The was absolutely the most REAL RUclips video I’ve seen. I felt like I was with you. Thanks ladies. I loved hanging out at the dollar store with you. The coat cracked me up. Im the youngest of 11 and have four older sisters
Cards - great for kids! And, then I don't mind putting a 50 cent stamp to mail. I still marvel how my great nieces and nephews love "snail mail!" For Easter last year, I mailed a Dairy Queen $5 per child in each of their individually addressed cards - this was a HIT. I know they had more than enough sweets - and their parents thought it was a great idea. I also use this gift card as part of their birthday gifts.
I just made the bundt cake recipe you recommend for the second time. Chocolate! It's my new "go-to" dessert, so festive looking on my mother's glass pedestal cake plate. She's gone now and its just a sweet way to remember her at our family celebrations. Thanks for all the ideas you give us. I enjoy watching you both have fun and save money and time as well!
I love going to the dollar store for "assembly" toys. I've gotten a couple they come with a little screwdriver and are great for toddlers. The activity books / sticker books are a go to. And organizing bins for drawers I've found to be most affordable.
Rachelle, I have to tell you the cutest story having to do with your last name. My maiden name is Hoogenboom, and when I was working a cash register a long time ago, and elderly couple came in and I commented on his last name being similar to mine. He said, "well you're a tree and I'm a thistle!) Apparently your name means tall thistle in Dutch.
Have a good one!
@@jennaalce4016 that's awesome! I love hearing about the name.
I never considered how names could sound so Dutch!
Definitely craft items for young kids. Me and my mom love Sudoku & crossword books. I look for small scented trash bags for bathroom. Party favors, Nail Polish, chapstick, eyeshadow, makeup removal pads and panty liners. Helium balloons last for weeks and all occasion cards.
I would be so happy if I were gifted a bunch of random greeting cards! I love sending cards to people for any and all occasions!!
Unrelated but you mentioned wedding gift- I get a pretty frame and nice craft paper of their wedding colors and I frame their wedding invitation and add a gift card. Everyone I’ve done it for loves it and still have it up in their homes.
You two are hilarious! So fun!
We have Dollarama here in Canada. I go there for things like small organizing bins, candy and at Christmas they have great cookie wrapping kits - a cardboard base covered in silver and a big cellophane wrapper with ribbon and a card. During Covid I baked a lot and dropped these gift bags/trays to friends. It was totally appreciated, and looked fabulous- and reasonably priced!!
I've been using dollar tree to teach my preschooler and toddler about Christmas giving...they can pick anything for mom, dad, grandparents and each other. They put a lot of thought into it! And it makes them so excited to GIVE at Christmas! And of course it's hilarious to open their presents 😄
I have learned that when the pretty gift bags come across Dollar Tree....to go ahead and buy them then... I've never been regreted doing this.
And, I gotta tell ya
With each new season they seem to just go above and beyond and just really bring out some wonderful items to decorate or give as gifts.
Some wonderful ideas here Ladies thank you so much.🎄❤🎄
I buy $1 reading glasses & place one in EVERY room of the house & in the car. I buy bins for organizing closets, under sinks & the pantry. And, I love their hanging red glitter Merry Christmas signs.
Thank you for not cutting the jar breaking! I laughed so hard!
Glow sticks! They’re great for dance parties at night, sharing with kids while we’re sitting around the campfire, and I always load up before a trip to a Disney park.
I just love when the two of you are together. It makes the video feel like I'm hanging out with really old friends. xo
please! do a video on when you open gifts!! love love the videos of you two together
You mentioned party supplies, and I always get mine at the dollar tree, especially colored plastic tablecloths but I want to Party City the other day looking for something specific. Their tablecloths were $7!!! Seven dollars!!!!! I was blown away! Dollar Tree FTW!!
Loved this! I realize you can’t do many shopping videos as a minimalist 😂 but I loved that you and Diana brought us along with you guys! I’ve been pretty isolated over here (who hasn’t?!) and this felt like a day out with the girls ❤️
I go to the dollar tree or dollarama about every month with a very precise list of actual needs, and rarely deviate. I’ve always been a natural minimalist at heart and don’t actually ever enjoy shopping for fun, but do enjoy shopping when I have something in mind. The only place I have to watch out for are the gift boxes you guys showed! About four years ago I found adorable Christmas tin boxes with clear lids for baked holiday goods. I had the great idea of making my whole family baked goodies as a homemade gift for Christmas. Well, it was three years later and I still had these boxes cluttering up my already messy house. Why hadn’t I made the cookies and given them as gifts? I had had 3 chances to do it! Because my kitchen and house in general were such disasters and full of stuff. Making cookies was never going to be possible or a priority. Instead, last Christmas, I turned to RUclips and found you, the Minimal Mom in my search for help. Growing up, my bedroom had always been impeccable. I would detail clean my room EVERY SATURDAY and as a teenager at that! I liked being minimal, I liked being organized, I liked things clean and pretty and simple. And then I had 3 kids 🤣. Toys everywhere. Soooo many toys. Grandparents and uncles and aunts adds up to A LOT of toys, especially with 3 kids! And I could never keep up with the laundry! Because I had bought WAY too much without even realizing! So last winter I started searching for cleaning and organizing inspiration on RUclips. The world of RUclips was new to me and I would soon find so many helpful videos! In fact, I not only found the Minima Mom, but ClutterBug and Dana K. White! About a month or so before you guys teamed-up actually! And I have been on a decluttering mission ever since and see real progress! I’m not done, but that’s only because I’m still a perfectionist, but getting better!! So all this to say, thank you, you gave me the answer for me to get my life back. And those cookie tins are gone! They might be back one day when I’m caught up enough and have the time for it, but that time hasn’t come quite yet. Hopefully next year 🙂
I have been cutting up my green scouring pads since I saw that tip. So simple, such a good idea, and something I had never thought to do.
I even think cutting scouring pads sharpens scissor blades!!
I love a good trip to dollar tree!
That’s what sisters are for! Wearing your clothes🥰❤️👍 Both of you look lovely and happy. It’s always nice to see you two together and having fun.
My husband and I text pics of cards that make us think of each other. It’s free! Love the tissue paper 24 pieces for a dollar is a good price. I buy small wipe off boards there for task lists.
Texting pictures of cards is genius! I have never heard of doing that before. Most people just throw cards away. What a great way to express the sentiment but not keep wasting money!
Love hanging out with you two ladies 💕
Love you sisters! I love watching you two together, always laughing! Reminds me of my sister & I we were super close like you are, until we married and moved away 40 years ago. Life gets in the way & time flies, so it's nice to see you get along so well. Blessings to you both!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The grands loved the Inventor’s boxes I put together for them. I used the downloadable label on the lid and personalized it with their name on one end. They opened their gift and started creating immediately! 🥰 The plastic boxes are some I was “going to store stuff in...when I get organized” but used since I am “decreasing my inventory.”
I buy all my stocking stuffers for the kids and grand kids at Dollar Tree. I set a budget for each person, and everyone gets the same amount. :) I also buy plates, napkins, etc. at Dollar Tree whenever we have family gatherings. They have cute designs for the any holiday. (We have over 40 people gathered in at one time. I definitely need disposable plates, cups, and utensils.)
The little lunch boxes was what I filled with mini gifts for our grandkidlets. I put tiny stuffies, notepads, tiny colored pencils, little lego set, tiny doll, anything tiny I could find that fit. I wrapped them all & tucked them inside and wrapped the lunch box. All 6 of them loved them!
I love the creative box for children! I am sure the parents appreciate the elimination of paint, the children, not so much! And the card assortment is a great idea for older adults, especially those who may not get out as frequently and not want more accumulation. Great ideas that keep sharing growing!
As I have a twin sister myself, this is some GOLD twin sister content. Dying. I love y’all!
So I would LOVE a video on how you navigate finances/allowance/spending with your kids. My ears perked up when you said “spending day.” Hearing your approach to this would be so helpful!
Parchment paper, pink salt, & spices are my go to things I get at Dollar Tree. Ours is so-so but I’m thankful for it bringing so close. Blessings! 🤗💕
I am new here, but already obsessed! You two are creative, informative, helpful and entertaining! Your joy, peace and enthusiasm are absolutely contagious!
I give my dad a bunch of cards for family birthdays, and then a few for wedding, baby, sympathy, etc every Christmas and I update a perpetual calendar I made for him years ago as needed. It's always one of his favorite gifts. He hates picking out cards. I get specific daughter, son, DIL, SIL, grandkids for the next years appropriate ages.
I totally have plans to get each of my kids a box of cards with stamps and pens for Christmas. We just moved four states away from home, so they will enjoy sending the cards to their friends and family.
Completely agree with kids and their money at the dollar store! Love seeing my kids save up for their own laptop or iPad.
Omg. When Dawn broke the jar…that was seriously the best part! And the inventors box thing is genius 🤓. You ladies are beautiful-you radiate positivity and just shine ✨
Loved that you gave your opinion on the cleaning products. I buy cleaning supplies, greeting cards, wrapping paper and bags, aluminum foil pans for the holidays and sometimes Christmas items
Thanks for the grieving video. My dad passed December 11 2020. It's hard these days but I don't want to miss the present.
My parents used to give us each a box full of arts and crafts items every year for Christmas! We looked forward to it and used it continuously throughout the year❤️❤️
I love the teaching moment of your children being able to experience the consumer’s progress :)
Gift wrap and gift bags are definitely my go to. Also crafting supplies for my grandkids.
Several times for Mother's Day I would buy my Grandma a pretty a book of flower themed postage stamps and put them inside a beautiful card with a message. She loved the practical gift especially since she lived in a studio apartment.
Shopping with the two of you is SO like shopping with my twin sis and me. Right down to giving her your coat. ❤ you two have excellent ideas and watching you together warms my heart. I miss my sis so much... she's in California and I'm in Michigan.
Gotta love the small baskets for organizing drawers from the Dollar Tree. We also love the craft supplies that are Christmas colors and the fake snow. The birthday balloons are an awesome deal there.
