Free Solo Climbing GNARLY Tree Surrounded by Water (Almost Died)

the shoulder popping out at that height is for sure funny, i have a knee that sometimes gets stuck in the bent position so i have to bend it back all the way before i can straighten it again, which is also funny when it happens on a tree, but the view is worth it 👌

That shoulder popped out shortly after he broke off a healthy branch. I definitely break off dead ones when I ascend big trees but never break branches with new growth. Seemed to me just a hint of instant karma!

the one think i see with people who don't tree climb is them being afraid of how thin a branch is, when in reality we know our own weight best and its thickness is something to take in but yet some trees are just tougher so youll know if it is about to break when you touch it.

Those branches at the base of the tree certainly were sketch, (wasn't too sure about them on the way down!) but the view over the water was beautiful, great climb!

I would rather climb up but bring climbing gear so I could rappell down and skip sketchy parts. But very brave of you to do it like this.

Heres some wisdom, Climbing the top of a tree is the same as climbing the bottom just watch out causes unlike the bottom of the tree if you fall from the top of the tree you'll fucking die.

Not really since the branches at the top are way more alive which makes them stronger, unlike at the bottom where they might be a bit "dead" making them weaker
