It is God's own country, how come you did not cover Temples, authentic food, and culture? Biryani and samosa are all outside influences. I am very much disappointed with your Kerala episodes.
God's own country is just a marketing tagline, nothing to do with God and temples. Whatever he has covered is pretty much the Malabar cuisine, which is meat heavy. The vegetarian fare is the standard dosa, idli, Vada and may be a sadya.
God is not equal to temple. God is not equal to church or masjid. Gods own country is a tagline suited for harmony and not discord. Yours truly, a pure keralite.

I visited Kerala from mgr chennai Railway station to Thrissur . While travelling in the early morning I felt the odour of the spices from the flowers . Really amazing state for travelling.
1980s Indeed a nostalgic restaurant. Always been here when there are crowd and waiting times but its all worth the pain for the food they serve.Glad you ate like a Malabari..🙂
