I’m a Big Bird. Fan. He was one of the greatest and absolutely the most complete Player Ever. Great Shooter, Amazing Passer, Rebounder and made everyone who played with him better.
In my eyes this man had everything a human could ask for. He had a very high IQ. Not just Basketball IQ.
He had unparalleled determination and an enormous Will to win . He had a true middle America toughness and values
He was fair and honest.
When he announced his retirement, the Celtics Front Office told him to relax think about it for a few weeks !
Larry knew that if he did not retire that day, a 10 million dollar irrevocable contract would kick in.
The Celtics wanted him to have it for what he had done for them over the years. He said I know what you’re doing.

10th?? You clearly didn’t see Bird play live. 10th is seriously insulting. He’s closer to top 5 than 10 and some pretty “reliable” NBA players have Bird in the top 5. Maybe you’ve heard of them. Kobe, Curry, Lebron, Magic, Kareem, Dominique, Isiah Thomas, Bill Russell, Michael Jordan,Iggy, (there’s more) All have Bird in there top 5 ever. 10? Please…..

Larry Legend is a Top 3 Player!!!! Greatest SF Ever!!! Its taken Lebron twice as much time to even come close to what Bird did in 12 seasons....cuz Bird missed one season due to injuries.
Some people don’t understand the game of basketball obviously, if you rank burd 10th when he clearly is top 5, and the guy you call the goat “Jordan”, never beat Larry bird when it mattered most. Oh and bird did all he did, a broken body his last 4 years. Get a clue whomever made these rankings
