Rewatching 3 years later... crazy how far we've come and how naive we were.
The CRISPR based gene therapy was wild. We all got the gene therapy without consent.
Watching for the 1st time...didn’t realize this was at the beginning of plandemic.
Everyone looked so young 3 years ago😂
2024
Coming back in 2024, after having watched all the 200 episodes.
It’s been 172 episodes…
I just want to hear a lecture series by Chamath about how the world monetary system works. Just recently learned about the fed and repo markets... wild stuff
Saad Ahmed I agree and I’m an economics major finishing up my junior year. He actually says things the way it is so I love hearing what he has to say

check out george gammon's channel here on youtube
The guys are great, but I especially admire how Chamath reasons and communicates.
Btw, does anyone know how to listen to "Episode 0", the test podcast?
I get so frustrated when leading economic factors are ignored. like demographics and the limits to growth.
I don't know how exactly this show works - maybe this was a first episode? Will Chamath be a regular or is there a guest rotation? In any case, this was a fantastic, thank you! Excited to see and hear more.
Hello fellow scholar!
Damn didn't know you followed the All-In podcast. Much love❤
The world needs Chamath 🙏🏾
The observations are 👌
Fascinating to listening to this a few years later.
S&p 500 was 2400 at this date. They literally recorded at the bottom of the dip.
Good to know I been here almost from the beginning. I started because of Chamath and stay for Sacks and Friedberg
It is always amazing to see the way these folks talk. Purely logical stuff. Thanks for putting this up on the internet.
Jason has definitely bettered his looks in 2024.
Chamath has an incredible mind. Wow! What a conversation. I thought I was an intelligent human. I’ve changed my mind
Here from Hyperchange. Now to binge the rest of All-In.
Chamath should go on HyperChange!
This was a great listen. I would pay to hear Chamath, David and Jason talk regularly at length and in this type of format.
Frank Dixon - I imagine they don’t need our money and don’t have time for this but I second your opinion, lol
@@ValleyOfTheShadow no ads, no payment... just content
Love the logic and sense in all three but love more the quality of human beings they appear to be.
#TeamHyperchange
Gali sent me here! I guess here is the place to start! Looking forward to it!

Ah the innocence of it all!
I wish the host would let Chamath and other finish their thoughts.
@Andre Bonaparte He seems smart but he loves the sound of his own voice.
4 Years later... wow
Fun to watch this 1st pod in the present..... July 1 2021..... What we have seen and learned since then...
What a time to be alive

I see Chamath i click
Friedberg was SO right about Covid... replacing fauci with him 34 months ago or so would have been so much better for the country
Gali’s a legend for recommending this podcast. I’m loving this you guys a fantastic. Love hearing straight up common sense minus any bull shit. Thanks guy’s
jcal looks younger now then he did 4 years ago
Where is the pilot episode?
wasn't recorded on video, it's only on the RSS feed (which you can find on apple pods, spotify, google podcasts, etc.)
Thank you Chamath, David and Jason for sharing your knowledge, insights and bringing awareness on so many relevant topics!
Just recently discovered Chamath on CNBC, my new hero lol! Love this podcast, please keep doing it guys.
Bird singing outside the window : Chirp
Chamath : thats asymptomatic
wow friedberg looks like he's 16 and jcal looks like he ate sachs
This is when market started bullish run. Also my son was born this week. Nasdaq was 7000, Dowjones 19000 S&P 2200. Few trillions went to market and now we are suffering consequences. Recession , Inflation market crash.
. Watching on 2022-06-26
Just finished the backlog. J Cal gets progressively smarter thankfully.
Rather than keeping the economy open the powers that be locked down and de valued the currency and propped up wall st... hence inflation that we haven’t felt the half of yet now in December 2022
Boy were you guys WAY off on the timeline. Look forward to hearing future podcasts.
Also, WET Markets exist in the US. The Fish Market in Seattle is a great example of FRESH food coming in straight from the boats.
Cheers!
"What the fuck fucking what the fucking fuck" - Chamath 2020
Interesting. We appreciate your time and efforts with these podcasts. If I may, a few observations from the cheap seats:
(1) those nations that have been most successful in minimizing the impact of Covid-19 responded early, and they responded thoroughly; (2) masking, testing, tracking - effectively - are crucial; (3) if and when shelter-in-place (for non-critical positions) is established, it should be done, and there doesn't need to be any economic pain - or at the very least any economic pain can be minimized; (4) a self-sustaining UBI for the duration, and zero interest bridge loans w/flexible terms for businesses who might need assistance during the hiatus, can all be done, easily, and the economic pain is basically gone; (5) those who might cringe at the notion of a UBI, or that government by definition must not be allowed to be helpful - those mindsets are not helpful. The "free market" is not sacred, government and the market must be complementary, a temporary self-sustaining UBI is not the end of the world. (6) current U.S. practices, with little if any national leadership, are not working. Indeed, the vast majority of the 145,000 covid-19 fatalities in the U.S. have all been unnecessary. Our lack of effective leadership is actually killing our own people, needlessly, and making this entire process even longer and/or worse than it otherwise has to be.
Regarding the luxury goods, I agree in the short term it will be hit hard but advertisement and “cool people” will push them back into the world. Weak minded people will quickly bend back and crave these items because they have yet to experience the lack of difference a luxury item has compared to an average item and they want to look “cool” too.
Well said, that is basically what I was "trying" to say above. I think you put it better than I did.
Pure virtual signalling or you've elementary grasp of what luxury actually is.
Pure virtual signalling or you've elementary grasp of what luxury actually is.
M Man I don’t really understand what your trying to say in this. Yeah luxury goods are almost entirely virtue signaling, that’s what I was basically explaining
Pure brilliance being witnessed here. Thank you @HyperChange for giving us the heads up. Subscribed and instant super fan of All In podcast!
Please guys keep doing this. There is soooo much we can learn from long form discussions like this. Its awesome!
Thanks for doing it :)
The number of subs on this page will increase at a faster rate than Covid cases in US. #UnflattenedCurve
Chamath, looking forward to seeing you on Hyperchange :)
wow, was here since the beginning and this pops up on my recommended. The pod has come a long way and many pounds were lost!
Re-watching the entire pod list today onwards. Love it when the Chamath said "Hate not being able to touch and feel you" and then the "man-love" thingy. Hahah!
Just saw epiosde 76 and 76.5 and, wanted to start from the beginning
I discovered this show two weeks ago and binged my way back to the first ep, do I have issues?
Same
At 49:10 he says anyone can buy the non FDA approved tests, can someone tell me where to get them.
Best quote from the episode: “Back to normal by April 8th 2020.”
Awesome stuff guys, can't wait for episode 2.
Great spoilers. Sorry.
52.45 : "It's horrible and awful situation. They're completely out of beds. They're triaging elderly people and letting them die in the hall so that younger people who have a higher chance of surviving can actually get oxygen. It's just awful. " An empathic statement from David in the midst of economic talk.
1.04.03 "You know what I realized after wearing the same pair of jeans four days in a row, I have too many pairs of jeans that's what have realized. And you know what I have also realized that the cotton shirts that I buy from HnM are f***ing perfect and I've complicated my life with all the bullshit that I've been buying because I thought it meant something and right now it means absolutely jack shit. " An Audacious Self Aware statement.
1.06.00 Helping each other is important.....NO SPOILERS watch n listen urself.
1.13.39 Healthcare is hard. People want personalized care. [KEY for me]
1.19.14 .....it's a cultural issue that has to END just like our cultural tradition of shaking hands. [ Kudos to Jason cus journalists can't
speak about it as it's kinda drug market and it's huge: wet market is billions$$$ dollar industry.]
Guys, 20/20 gene systems make those 15 min tests. Us company and fda approved
look how much better their houses look after the pandemic!
Hi, Hope you guys are well. Thanks for the content. Is there any way we can ask questions which you could answer during the podcast?
Chamath is putting the foundation to run for office. Mark my words
He was not born in USA, he can’t run of office of president.
I know Chamath is baaically a genius and communicates so well, but who is David? wow he blew me away
go back to normalcy in 10 days, 30 days or 60 days? Try 3 months, 6 months, or longer.
Gali from HyperChange sent me!!
Galley sent me you guys are great.
Where can we buy these igg tests online?
Alibaba got them
Here from HyperChange
You know this gali dropping dimes
all of you guys were amazing! so insightful ~~
Bro, Friedberg sounds like Vitalik in this ep
Great video.
Technical point from my wife a physician and ms in micro biology. There is window where both antibody tests are negative but the patient has had the virus from cure to one month out.
Do I not understand Chamath's net worth or could he not pay for the study?
Chamath example of redundancy was wrong. There is no shortage of iPhones and it is a monopolistic product. Toilet paper has a shortage and is very competitive and takes up a tremendous amount of retail real estate. Even at events like this happenning once every ten years adding factory capacity or shelf space would raise the cost and give competitive position to actors who do not follow the safer levels. The excess capacity can not be paid for during a crisis as people would go to jail for gouging. JIT is a local maxima and new maxima must be found that is near it profit maximization or people will keep going toward it. Shutting everything down reinforces JIT as there is less stranded inventory.
Everyone should just have the new toilets that have a bidet. No more toilet paper needed. Our sewage lines would get clogged less often. And would save 360 trees per person a year.
Hyperchange got me here, I’m halfway through this one, I subscribed and will be watching everything else going forward
NHS is awesome
It's amazing watching this in August of 2024, knowing ohw thingsflowed out totally differently.
Hans rosling was not an economist. He was a medical doctor.
In 1 year Chamath went from H&M Ts to $9K jumpers
Wow listening to this on January 20th, 2022.
51:01 he is talking about warren buffet here. He benefited a lot from America but when Americans are suffering, he disappears into thin air.
that’s when you should have jumped into the market 😂
Thank you guys for sharing
The only problem with what Chamath is saying is that he is thinking thew his minds eye, and how things probably "should" be handled. But unless people absolutely CANNOT spend on fancy toys and unnecessary things, they WILL.
And most companies are run by greedy money hungry people. They aren't looking at how they may effect the future. That just seems to be human nature these days.
Hindsight is 20/20. Foresight is priceless. Spot on.
Great content and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. Can't help but get a little frustrated by Jason's insistence that this is going to blow over rather quickly even while his two guests are adamant that this is no where near over. This is way bigger than a 30 - 60 day issue for the everyday citizen.
Loved this, please do another one again soon
I think your podcast would be much better if you had guest come on and cut you off constantly while always shooting for that gotchya moment.
Also, have Hyperchange on!
7 August 2022
Decided to go back and listen to an older episode. Should I be surprised to hear WEF talking points about how we were going through a great reset and we will all realize we can be happy poor?
Probably what most people don’t understand about these concepts is that they agree that people don’t need money to be happy but what they don’t realize is that it’s the lack of freedom under wef authoritarianism they will make everyone miserable except for those at the top…probably including David F.
He used the same words, but I don't think he meant the same thing.
thank you
Would love to know y’alls opinion now
Galli sent me
Why the hell has this only had 20k views and 804 likes...
1st one watched, won't be the last
Shout out to Gali
Boy were you wrong (regarding reopening)😂😂😂
Great talk guys. However no antibody testing ever happened as of May 22. Now what?
People in India have been taking chloroquine most of their adult lives for malaria. We have enough data to analyze to determine its safety
Thank you guys for an awsome video. How I see this, it looks like a patient in a hospital telling himself if I feel better and release from hospital will start to work out,eat healthy and take care of myself, but in a few weeks he will go back to the same routine as before and forget everything. I dont beleive nationalism works for economy with all the new technilogies we are getting even closer to a global village. Not acceptable beaviours in any culture should be let go for good. Need more educated individuals.
HYYYPERRRCHANGEEEE
xR00K same
Tell that guy not to yell, use your inside voice.
who is David?
