Years ago I had a sample of this and didn't care for it. However, I've been toying with picking it up. Thanks for the review, I think you've pushed me over the edge. And you haven't steered me wrong yet. By the way, the current square Guerlain bottles were used for their vintage Habit Rouge splash. I have a couple of them tucked away; they used to call it the valise bottle. And the vintage Habit Rouge EDT is incredible. It also has civet which gives it a slight skanky sparklle which is amazing!
Hi. Own a few Guerlains. My scent of the Day, when watching this review, was Guerlain Héritage EDP. Also a gem. Good projection and longevity on my skin. The other Guerlains in my tiny collection: Vetiver, HI edp, HI L'Intense, HI Extreme & Habit Rouge edt. 🙂
Vetiver creed has a wonderful soapy , natural fresh and classic smell . Vetiver Guerlain is a classic I’ve been wearing for 30 years . I never swayed from it for 20 odd years . Vetiver extraordiaire is great aswell . Very different
I've been keeping an eye out for a good price to pick this up and I happened upon a 4.2 oz NIB sealed vintage bottle on eBay just as the bidding was closing. It was going for $85 (can you believe it?) and I put in my bid with 4 seconds left and snagged it for $86. It arrived today, it's in the bottle with the frosted glass stripes and smells amazing! My thanks for your recommendation (one of many I've followed through on), again, thank you thank you thank you!!!
it seems i found a note i rly like i tried creeds original vetiver but i aint spenind 300$ on a mid perfomring green fragrance hopefully this is also clean, green and vetiver like
Yeah I agree with you - way overpriced. Vetiver by Guerlain is clean, green, classic and masculine. I get solid performance. Also, there is a touch of something animalic I can detect in it (civet perhaps?)

I like the vetiver in Acqua di Parma Colonia Futura.
One of my fav Green earthy frags along with Frederick Malle Synthetic Jungle.

Oddly enough, but I can't decide what to pick up - Dior Homme 2020 or Guerlain Vetiver. I like both of them, but GV seems to be more classier
