Folsom is a coaches dream. Its rare to have local kids come all the way up together. That makes for a dangerous team. I honestly thought Folsom would handle Cathedral. But it turned out to be a nail bitter.
@@Butter-gz4kb Yea thats one thing I don't like about Folsom, the Recruiting. I personally feel that Recruiting is a stupid thing and you should play for your local team not the one that wins. Even though they recruit I still respect their name :)
@@brettb2007 Yea that's true. I've got like one friend who goes to Folsom but he lives next to Whitney and Rocklin arguably better schools. Just shows how competitive sports are in California let alone 2020
@@NoHennyForYu It's because Folsom is an open school so they can recruit anybody anywhere, that's why they get the top prospects. In order to go to like Rocklin, del Oro, or Whitney, you need to live in a certain area.
@I Hallucinate stop it bruh norcal won like 10 out of the 16 state games this year lmao. Yall got smacked this year. Folsom has never lost to a southern cali school and in facts owns the san diego area. Ask oceanside, helix, and cathedral bout Folsom. As for other so cal schools ask Serra of gardena and chaminade. Folsom spanked em all.
Wow, what a game. I feel like Cathedral should've won, but they let too many opportunities slip away especially on offense. You just cant do that against a team like them. Thats a tough one to lose
Less quality teams in the north the talent is more concentrated. So many good places to go to school in the South that have good programs talent is spread out. Thats my theory. When it comes to the largest school division south dominates more big schools. Plus Right now meter dei and bosco are on another level
Theory is wrong. Do your home work on school sizes and how they differ from nor cal and so cal. The schools in so cal double the enrollment size of nor cal schools. The teams up here that go to continues championships are all chained together and no more than 10 miles apart. Folsom, Grant, Granite Bay, Del oro, Rocklin, Rio Linda, and placer are all within 30 minutes or less from each other and have all won or and been to multiple state championships. You can actually ride a bike from granite bay to either rocklin or del oro. Someone tried to use this same wack excuse when granite bay beat long beach saying the same bs but didnt realize long beach had 4300 students and granite bay had 1900.
Also folsom is a public school, the teams from so cal who make it to the state championship are usually private and can legally recruit. De La Salle is the only private school that is a power house in nor cal
Northern California population is 15 million. Compare that to Southern California 23 million. Folsom would be much better if they had players from Grant high school, Burbank( south Sacramento) and Elk Grove. Grant High School In 2008 won the open division. With size and speed. Since then I haven’t seen a team from Nor cal with that size and speed. It makes a difference facing SO cal teams.
Cathedral Catholic is also a private school in a concentrated area of talent. They offer scholarships to gifted 8th - 12th graders that can’t afford it. Apart of St. Augustine that’s their only recruiting competition. Folsom is a PUBLIC school. That’s so sick
Just when I was wondering where it was... It TURNED UP, MAAAN! Good looking out! PS.. I told my NorCal people this game was gonna be close. Poma is on some Matrix type stuff.. And nice hit @4:30 (Ngata?). #3 on Folsom really stepped it up too. Lotta talent on both sides.
Folsom has always owned san diego area schools. In fact all the coaches who have lost to them teamed up with cathedral and cathedral still lost. Check the stats.
The coaches from Cathedral tell their players to play dirty to get the other team to get upset so the refs call penalties on them. Pinching in a pile, talking mess, little stuff here and there. Glad they lost to a public school.
Folsom should have blown them out, two dropped td passes in the first quarter lol. Cathedral Catholic is a private school too. Those kids aren't local.

I live in Folsom; Folsom recruits and that’s works well. Get a well coached team that has DI Athletes to to put them of the top. Just like Cathedral.

@Jon Harris you do know Folsom owns the san diego area right? Lmao 4-0 all time. Oceanside, cathedral twice, and helix kno bout it.

No way, folsom had 3 dropped td passes and had 5 redzone trips that they didn't score on.
Yeah but they didnt. Folsom was 30-1 in two years. Better school won and it was a public school.
Crazy how 3 San Diego High Schools won State this year.

if the best players in the sac area played at one or two schools they would be top ten teams in the country no doubt.

Young Kaiden back to back ppl don't know the hard work this boy puts in since he was 6. Well deserved shows what hard work does
Yes sir much love to the KB. Back to back state game MVP. CJ Hutton killin it last year and this year in the big game and he's only a junior.
I know #1 from CC was hurt when he drop that touchdown pass😂😂
