Wendy, your mom will be ok during and after her next eye surgery. I had both my eyes done in 2013 and did great. However, over some time she may develop a skim over her implants. That's really not to worry about because she can have Lazer surgery to bust up the skim. I once again had to go through this procedure. It only takes about 5 minutes per eye. Your mom will feel so much better after her other eye is done and she will be amazed as to how well she'll be able to see. Prayers for your mom.🙏🙏🙏

I have implanted lenses in both eyes. I had cataract surgery in 2014. Last couple years I've needed reader's.
Which lenses did your mom get? My husband said since I'd worn glasses fir 59 years I deserved the best lenses. So we paid $3500 per eye for lenses.
That's $7,000 for both.

I have had both cataracts done, best thing ever for me, after I had corneas done 2010 and 2012. Cataracts were u think 3 or four years ago
Your mom probably won't need glasses after both eyes have been done. I was lucky I don't need glasses either anymore

I had that eye surgery a couple yrs ago ,loved it ,I don't need glasses at all wore contacts for yrs, I will tell you Mom,it will be so bright when you get them both done you will need sunglasses, I had to wear sun glasses for a week to watch TV lol
