Got mine a couple days ago and tried it out today. I got a medium and the arms fit fine but the body feels a bit big and long. The sling feature may come in handy in fall/spring and for travel. It's big enough for me to fit my kindle paperwhite 6.8" and a backup charger. I like that the stuff pocket can be used for items in jacket mode (unlike the similar in concept Quikflip jackets), though the added weight does pull the coat backwards and you have to be careful not to crush your stuff when sitting down. Still, it's a nice option for when I want to have my Kindle on me but don't feel like carrying a bag. The "extra" item I got for the long wait was a pair of socks. Not super exciting but better than nothing. Overall, I could see this jacket getting a lot use!
Thanks for the review. I got mine also. It looks like they changed the seam tapes; I remember them being darker and not silver. Hopefully the issue of water ingress via the sleeve is sorted. Sorry if I missed it but what size is that? is that Large or XL? Yours fit much better than mine and the sleeve lengths look just right. I dunno, but the Large size seems really undersized to and the arms are shorter than expected. In my mind, you should be able to throw this over a midlayer just the same as a t-shirt and be comfortable; unfortunately, at least for the Large, it feels like a snug fit over a sweater. I was planning to use this on its own or over another jacket but I might have to exchange for a XL. All other WR jackets double-up nicely at the same size (i.e. Large over Large) except for this one. The fabric feels nice but that notched hem could be a weak point. It's not reinforced like on the Movement Shorts which uses the same design touch. Another thing I noticed was that the hood isn't as well shaped as the one on the Airloft Hooded Jacket which has was perfect IMHO. The hood on this one sticks out straight instead of curving slightly down more to cover forehead. Given that the sides are much wider, it looks like you have to always cinch this down. In contrast, the Airloft doesn't need to be cinched; it just sits right and keeps rain off your eyes without the need to batten down the hatches, so to speak. I am still not sure we need the whole "sling bag" thing because anyone interested in this jacket is probably already using a sling for daily stuff. The Pack Hacker's review mentioned how the buckle could be felt in the back and I can see that getting annoying really quickly. It's a cute idea that really mars a nice shell.
@jackolantern7342 I think you are right on the color. It should not matter but as I watched the video back and the hood flipped inside out some the silver really stood out. Doubt it is too much a problem, as long as they work :D This is XXL, I have to size up everything for sleeve length but this fits nice in the body and should work well over a thicker layer like a sweatshirt. Will see how the notch holds up. For the sling, I think some will love it, some will never use. I am not sure. I will use it when I don’t want to tie it around my waste. What I am curious on how it works when I pack it up damp when out and about. I could feel the buckle when I thought about it. Need to give it some extended wear to see if annoying or I feel it because I think about it.

@@StevesDigitalLife Ok, if you've sized up already then it'll probably be just fine for a thicker layer underneath.
