Haha! I actually did! Although I had the most charge out of everyone and because the chargepoints were quite spaced out we were sticking to around 50mph
@@CourtneyScarlettMoto I have a Rivian and Tesla, so I'm very pro EV. But packaging it on a motorcycle, suffice to give a good distance at 'real-world' speeds is definitely a difficult challenge for engineers based on the current available batteries/tech. Keep up the good work!

@@just_one_opinion gtfo my own page? I can only speak from my experience, which was 2 days in Scotland, on a brand new 2024 model. I’ve never owned one, and haven’t a clue how the battery may degrade over time. As you can see in the video, we did have some issues - everyone’s bike drained battery at very different levels despite us all travelling the same route and charging at the same time. We also had to ride slower at points then we would’ve liked to to preserve the battery and also barely made it to our hotel. If you want to be pedantic you can feel free to work out my locations and mileage and call me a liar but this is exactly what happened. 🤷🏼♀️
I see a lot of agressive comments about you promoting electric bikes which is unfair . Believe me IC bikes with all the manufacturers are going to be around for years . Hope you both had a blast and glad to see you riding again ..testing lol ❤ it

@@just_one_opinion paid operative and green activist 😂😂😂 I don’t like liars either so here’s the truth - I was a paid rider taking part in a video shoot. This vlog however is not paid, it’s just my experience and my opinion. Do I own an electric car or bike? No. Do I want to own one? Not currently no. Do I still think the bike is fun to ride? Yes. Does it have its flaws? Yes. Will I be doing a full review on my next video? Yes. 😊

Hey Courtney! I'm on my learners motorcycle licence here in Aotearoa New Zealand, about to sit my test to go up to the next intermediate level 'Restricted' ... hopefully I'll be on my Full next year some time. But I'm doing it all on electric motorcycles, so I will admit am definitely looking at a Zero DSR-X/SRF/SRS amongst others for when I get my Full! Love this video and have subscribed to keep watching :)
Hey Sarah! Ahh that’s awesome!! How exciting - I’ve never even heard of someone doing it all on electric so good on you! Let me know what you end up going for! 😊
As said, audio was a bit of a struggle but you're aware 🙂 I'm not a dinosaur against electric bikes, it's just the range and price at the moment. Those models are nice looking bikes.
I think it’s fair to say probably 99% of bikers have their question marks around them 😂 but I love people who can be open minded! Completely agree on the price and range being off putting though! I certainly can’t afford one 😅
Long term I can’t see the point of electric motorcycles because their exhaust gases are nothing in comparison to the carbon footprint of getting it all made & then generating the electricity to re charge? . I currently have a KTM & have owned motorcycles for the last 47 years . Emission on my KTM are next to nothing. Anyway thanks for all your great videos & keep enjoying your ride outs. Loved your trips across the US. 👍🏆
🤣🤣 I think a lot of people feel that way to be fair - I can’t say I have plans to buy an electric motorbike but I do still think it’s a fantastic bike and highly enjoyable to ride - it’s just different 😊

@@just_one_opinion I really appreciate all of this engagement. And to be fair to you - I will take note to what you’ve said (and am going to side step all the bullshit you’ve said about me 😂) and will reiterate in my part 2 video the issues we experienced - I thought they were fairly clear to see but apparently not!
Good vid Cortney, a bitt hard to hear what you are saying helmet of, a bit low, maybe a external mic. Again you do great composition picture and music. Just keep at it, i enjoy your vid`s a lot! 😊

It’s weird for sure! And I will say (I’ll speak more of this in part 2) the electric bikes do lack character not having the feel and sounds of the engine. But that said, I still think it’s a great bike 👍🏻 ( but I could talk for ages on this so I’m gonna try to save it for the next video haha 😝)

I love petrol bikes and certainly don’t ever want to see them banned - why would I? This is my livelihood as well as my hobby. At the end of the day electric bikes can still have their own place without petrol bikes being banned - and they don’t have to be for everyone 🤷🏼♀️
