Thanks Allen, wish I'd watched this before buying it! As a kitchen/bathroom man I don't often do much 22/28, and I've probably had about a 10% success rate getting it to cut 15mm since I bought it this morning. Weighing up whether to keep it in the cupboard to bring out when I have a load of 22mm to do, or take it back saying its faulty/not fit for purpose since I don't think it's a reliable tool for 15mm. Will stick to my rotary cutter!
I had the same issue at first cutting 15mm. Then I got used to it. Mine jumps a bit sometimes. I think I need to change the blade beacuse it's take a bit longer to cut.
If you're worrying about brand reliability, Ridgid and Milwaukee are owned by the same parent company. Personally I think it's overkill and I prefer the accuracy of a hand cutter. But each to their own.
Yeah coz if not it damages your pipe! I’d save your money I’ve had this over 2 years and I bet the time and money wasted on damage pipe it’s cost me double!! Don’t get me wrong I use it daily but when you need a precise cut and it jumps damaging your workpiece I want to go slap the designer!! 😡
+Des Diamond 1 or 2 cuts and your comment may make sense. Try doing 100 plus cuts and see how your hands feel though. Older plumbers may have arthritis and this would be a godsend. Time is money and this is fast.

Had mine about 2 yrs never been able to make 1 15mm cut, but 22/28 it’s great
Are there blades for stainless steel for this cutter?
I do not know about that. Sorry.
Hey Alan have you changed the wheel yet? You are right 15mm you need have it perfectly aligned but great tool for 22/28mm.
can this cut SS tube, what happens if this is used to cut SS tube
I think it depends on the wheels really
I just got mine today. Mine came with a big blow mold case but I don’t think I’m gonna use it. How do you store yours?
thanks allen ,thinking of getting one as my hands are giving up too
what about water penetration, any issues? Still going strong.????
It is still going but needs a new blade, gone back to normal pipe slice tbh.
I have used them lots of times around water, Water splashing on them etc etc and they seem to work fine. Thanks for watching.
What do you use for 35 / 42?
can i cut 1/4" & 3/16" copper tube
No
I think the minimum is 1/2"
What's different then 2471-20?
“-20” suffix usually means tool only.
Just picked one up, not impressed at all.
Taking 9 seconds to cut 15mm copper.
Reckon it needs taking back and changing?
😂😂😂
9 SECONDS? IT TAKES LESS THAN 4
@@andrewrodriguez8492 I took it back for a replacement which worked much better
Think I had a faulty unit which was spinning slower
3/8" режет?
Thanks for watching.
I wish it was not a Milwaukee. does rigid sells something like this?
I do not mind the Milwaukee stuff tbh. Thanks for watching.
@Supa Trending Daily You wait until you catch your pinky finger in one.

Got two of these, great tools, just watch your fingers in them! >.
totally agree, be careful. Thanks for watching.
You have good potential for tool reviews. Please spend more time on punctuation as it is very difficult to read your description.
Have a look at some of my newer videos and see what you think. Thanks.
