Hey Myisha! Got a few questions for you. Do you plan to keep the same countertop? If so, here are a few tips for you. Rustoleum has a tub and tile kit that you can resurface your counter tops with. Also, to remove the stains in the grout lines, zep makes a mold and mildew remover that is like no other. That stuff removes motor oil off on concrete. Dollar Tree has it on the plus section for 3 bucks. It's also sold in other stores. It has a green label. Warning: It's strong, so be sure to wear a mask and open a window if possible. Barkeepers friend is also great. It's sold in the section with the comet. Your kitchen reno is amazing! Beautifully done.❤😊

Hey- love your tips! Have you used the rustoleum kit??? I've been mulling around the idea of using it, but I’m not 1000% sure it's user friendly. I DIY a lot, but I'm a little nervous to work on such permanent areas.

@hrrussell1233 Thanks! Yes, I have, and it's holding up very well. It's very strong. A well ventilated area and proper masking is best when using this stuff. I wasn't sure at first myself. I also Diy. I purchased 2 kits. I watched a couple of RUclips videos and purchased some old tile from a local thrift shop to get practice and test the product before I used it in my bathroom area. The most important step is proper preparation. If the surface is prepared properly, it can be a complete mess. I hope this helps. 😊

Watching your video and wondering how much if any damage was done to your wall when removing the stick on backsplash. This backslash caught my eye because it’s not paper thin like the other videos I have watched. The paper this seems like it would show every imperfection.
Although we could clearly see her struggling to remove that tile, it really didn't look (to me) like any damage was done to the wall in the process. Hopefully she’ll respond and let us know if there's something she can see up close that we couldn't see in the video.
Hi y’all! No there wasn’t any damage to the wall after removal. I would think after time you may want to use a good cleaning solution to remove any pieces left over. But seems pretty safe especially with all the adhesive solutions available now.

Take those hinges off the center cabinet! And paint that underside of the cabinet where you started the backsplash.
Dang -bossy much?? lol but no I didn’t notice those things, but I do think both suggestions may elevate the look even more… good eye
She already said she will remove the hinges in the video 😑😂
