Please post more videos Tim, your drumming & Manchester Orchestra’s music has been extremely inspirational & important to me for many years!!! I love seeing exactly how you play the songs......super sick man!!!!
I really enjoy your drumming skills and I genuinely enjoy MO's music. Your technique is awesome and your drumming is unique and meshes well with the songs. To help some of us learn the skills It would be cool if you could add a cam at your kick to check out some of the footwork as I'm sure there are a lot of double strokes you're adding with the kick which are are hard to see with the straight on cameras.
Dude, you're such a great drummer! You really add so much to the bands sound. I hope that youre given credit for that. Your mixture of pocket to choppy funky grooves is great. You really look like you're having a blast while playing, which i love. If you dont love it dont do it! Do you guys play with backing? Just curious. I've never quite done well with them, but have had fairly minimal exposure to bacoing tracks. Thats a skill all its own. Hhm
Charles D’Errico he’s playing to the stems on from the records. And I build a click from that. Then we have him slate the beginning of the video with the record I always give him a 2bar count in. So it’s quite easy to sync. And it’s all done with a single pass. Not takes edited together.

Just watched again for no reason. That bridge snare work and dynamics make that part of the song. You’ve got killer strokes!
This was awesome!!!

This is great! Any recommendations on how you make great videos syncing your mixed drums with the song and then video? Dig the C&C kit as well!
