This is great! I’ve been waiting for something like this and would totally give it a shot. Hero 8 image quality with digital stabilization still can’t touch an EVO stabilized 4 Black, so I would love to see how things look on the 8+EVO with digital stabilization turned off 💥
The 3 D printed part doesn't fit correctly due to shrinkage. I am still waiting for a response on what is being done to replace the defective part I received.
Please, as a loyal customer I request you, could you make more Evo SS Type-C charging cables ? It ain’t available anywhere. The white end came off and there’s just not another piece in the market to buy.
I know my request would be wierd, but wouldn't you make the 3d model file available for download, please? Not for free of course. I bougth the GP EVO Pro for my hero6, used it several times, but when I upgraded to hero8 black, realized that gp pro can't be used anymore because of the cage size. So i decided to sell it, but everyone is using newer gopro now, so i can't sell it, but I'd love to use it. So again, can you make the extra cage 3d model file available for download for few bucks please?
just got my mount and gimbal. FYI the logo on both ends of the motors are vertical. does not align with this video as there is no way to get them to read left to right
I'm using the Hero 7 with the EVO Gimbal. How do I get good quality audio using this set-up? I hear the motor noise from the gimbal on my Hero 7 audio. What is the best external microphone that works with hero 7 and the EVO gimbal? Can someone share a video of the EVO gimbal and the external microphone? Thank you!
Hey Timmy, I use the H1 Zoom mic and then wear a pair of Roland in-ear monitors. I carry the Zoom mic in my pocket and it looks like I am just wearing earbuds but they are actually microphones. You will NOT be able to get good audio using the Hero 7 and EVO combination.

The gimbal seems to balance my Hero 8 without the counterweight. Do you really need it or are the motors working overtime to balance the camera?
Whats the mount at the bottom that would go onto the chest harness? Will it work with the stuntman harness and or gopro harness?

I just got this kit! what is this? Homemade kit? Absolutely poor quality! Rubber strap is not secure! Most likely I will return it!
