"Satan is subtle, we are gullible." Sometimes he is so subtle, we think they are our own thoughts.

Thank you for these, I have a question though it says "She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate". Doesn't this mean Adam was with her?

From my understanding, yes. He was right there with her by her side.

“With her” as in, in the garden.
Because it is understood as one to one conversation between serpent and Eve.
If Adam was beside her, it would have been mentioned “beside”.
And the seed of the women will crush the head of a serpent clearly indicated it is Eve’s mistake.

@@akansk but it says ““So when the woman saw … that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate” which implies he was actually with with her.

@@barefootonthehomestead Although the text mentions that Adam was “with her,” it doesn’t explicitly clarify his level of involvement in the conversation between Eve and the serpent. The mere presence of Adam doesn’t necessarily imply active participation. He could have been nearby, perhaps engaged in other activities, while Eve conversed with the serpent.
Adam could be sitting right beside her and still not be involved in the conversation, as he might have been engaged in other work or activities. This pattern is known among humans (men & women alike), they can sometimes be quite absent from the present world.
My observation is that serpent’s voice might not have been audible to Adam. Although this interpretation is not explicitly from the text, I acknowledge that I should refrain from making such assumptions.
Considering Eve’s vulnerability and serpent’s cunningness, it’s plausible that serpent targeted her specifically. Perhaps he perceived her as more susceptible to deception. Serpent’s strategy might have been to isolate Eve, recognizing that Adam’s strength could resist direct deception.
