1. Tools I used: Sculpey white clay, Craftsmart acrylic paint, Paintbrushes, White thread, E6000, Toothpicks, Scissors, Glaze.
2. I used White Clay because i did not have all the colors for the balloons and the House itself.
3. I advise you to use actual colored clay for the balloons, painting the balloons was the hardest part of the whole figurine itself.
4. Painting the house seemed much easier than using colored clay.
5. If you feel like the balloons would add too much weight on top, use resin clay or daiso air dry clay to make the top lighter, using daiso clay will detract from the quality of the piece but the piece itself will become lighter. If you don't want to use daiso airdry clay, add a platform under the house for more stability.
Songs used:
1. Mindy Gledhill - All about your heart
2. Johnny Ripper- Waltz for an imaginary piano ( or person, i forgot)

WOW, extraordinary! This was so nice! You have earned a new subscriber :)
The real person behind this scene was a woman by the name of Edith from Seattle. . Her story and strength is such inspiration! She stood up to the development company that offered her a million dollars to buy her house so they could make new development in the area but Miss Edith refused. She stayed in her home surrounded around the new construction where she later died. The moral of her story is ' Money isn't everything, you stand up for what matters to you the most' - in Edith case... her little old house.
Mom The Ebayer This is good to know, thanks for sharing the info.
Remind me of the Palestinians, Viva Palestina!
Oh my gosh, this is amazing...! ♥ You are awesome!
Wow beautiful work! I don't understand how you work without that camera getting in the way hehe
This is one of the most amazing things made out of clay. Ever.
You're truly gifted! :) I saw you had themed nails as well, that earns a like! :D
This is very cute but I think you should have taken more time on the painting...
Ahhh I love the painted effect, everything is so beautiful! Your nails are also very cute. :o
OMG EVEN YOUR NAILS 😆 you're perfect
Nicely done, but poorly colored.
Should be done with colored material.
BRAVO!!!
I love the polymer clay UP HOUSE
😊

this is amazing!
Up is my favorite movie next to frozen
Wow! That was not an easy piece to complete, well done. A great finished piece, you should be very pleased with the result.
amazing !!!! just amazing !!!!!! BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO !!!
So magnificient as always, your work is so stunning!
I love the song you played in the end by Mindy.G
I agree. The whimsical music was terrific.
Would've looked better if you use colored clay for the balloons. The paint looks sloppy
That looks so beautiful. You make it look so easy.
Thank you! 걱정하지마 :-) 할 수있어, 파이팅!
Oh gosh..a long time.
Making the basic white house- not too long, this part was the easy part, maybe an hour/hour and a half?
Balloons- this was the easiest part so around 10-15 minutes.
Painting the balloons- I had to use a couple of coats of paints and used a fine brush to refine each balloon so about 1 hour.
Painting the house-easier than painting the balloons- about 30 minutes.
Putting on the thread-15 min.
I also made this house over a period of 3 days. :)
Hope this helped!
I could have made the house bigger and the balloons smaller. Or I could have painted the balloons one color or made them into different shapes. It's the artists interpretation of the sculpture. Replicating it exactly is never fun.
Amazing!
I love the idea of mixing transulcent clay and colored clay! :) But i feel like putting foil in the balloons would take way too long..maybe you could also just use scrap clay to make the balloons and paint over it :)
It would've been easier just using colored clay and sticking them together without glue. but hey, it's all about failing and learning right? :)
I baked it with the wood on. The wood doesn't catch of fire.
that "Crappy old split paintbrush" is a new paintbrush that was just wet.
I believe this is actually one of the most amazing things I have ever seen
This is so cute !!! I'm going to totally make this ! Great tutorial ! ^.^
I love this!!! Thank you so much for the tutorial! How long did it take to make the clay itself??
actually no you couldn't, the styrofoam would melt in the oven..
hehe yep :-) i didn't want you guys to see it until the end,
Everything about this tutorial is just perfect
Because i wanted you guys to wait until the end result...
@TheCraftyAli actually, the brush is perfectly fine.
Why didn't you use the colored clay??
its so cute but i thimnk it would be easier with color clay
hm~ maybe i should do a video on the closeups on the house and more details on how i painted it. The house is painted in full detail, i just didn't include a clip of painting the details.
Thanks for the comment though :) .
Looks ridiculously great!
For time sake I cut out a large chunk of the the tutorial : the painting part. Trust me, there are a lot of clean refined details in the house and balloon paint.
Hahahah!
The up house was extremely detailed...i luv it ..........................
Simply wanted to say thanks for the excellent video. I really liked it and will be keeping my eyes peeled for more videos from your channel :)

That is true talent! ANd you did every single little bit on the house! the tiles things on the roof and everything! That must've been so hard because the bits are so small! By the way where do you buy the clay?
OMG! I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!! 💕
You did an amazing job. The painting was spot on. You have a gifted talent and i hope you will continue to make charms and things out of clay, because your one of a kind. God Bless

This is really nice and a very smart idea, I love how your nails fit into the theme perfectly too! I think you should do a tutorial on your nails... PLEASE :D
First of all... this is the cutest clay creation I ever saw, second of all I LOVE YOUR NAILS, and lastly, how did you get the candle flames to look like a heart?
Such detail! I don't know how you do it but you make it look so easy. I think this was the sweetest vid. The music the creation. Just wonderful thanks!
that stick you used to hold up the balloon to the house... is it a wooden stick?? and won't it burn once its in the oven??
this is the first time i had ever seen this creative clay figure!!! Thanks so much for posting this!! i totally LOVE it!!!!
Actually you have a very nice channel ( good lighting + perfect charms + cute clean hand ^o^ ) I like it ... Don't stop :))
Oh my. I think I have just seen the most amazing polymer clay piece. Ever. I'm blown away, it's absolutely incredible.
I realized that ur nails matched the up theme I saw the balloons and the house on ur nail I didn't realize until u started painting the house
@MyPetiteCakes I have a little question please ^,^ how did you make these hearts candle lights . Is that from your camera ?
you are so good!!!!!
My mind is blown away by how amazing this is! It's perfect!
simply mindblowing. I cried so much during that movie .___.
That effect is called "bokeh" ;)
i love your video and your up house.^-^.
amazing!!!!.... job.
You could also wrap a thin layer of the regular polymer clay around the polymer clay that they make that has less weight. Fimo and Sculpy both make a light version of this polymer clay and it only comes in white so it would need to be colored, covered, or painted. But it's so light you can make water floating objects out of it. If you would like some let me know and I mail you some to try.
You did a great job on this, beautiful work. I have a couple other suggestions to add to yours. If you want to make the balloons out of polymer clay you can always put foil on the inside of each balloon. Also, to get the look of a real balloon you can mix translucent clay with colored clay, this should help with the look. Take care, Dee
What kind of camera do you use?
And how do you film without the camera blocking your view of the clay?
Did you paint the clay with acrylics before or after you baked them?
And does it make a difference?
You've watched the UP movie too many times to know what the how looks like exactly! XD Your amazing!
how did you keep the clay so white? usually my clay gets dusty even when do everything to prevent it.
omg i love this tutorial! i wanna try and make it ^^
would tinfoil work inside the ballons? :)
Just saying.. But I think if u do this again u should make the balloons smaller. I compared it with the house, and compared to the houses size, it to big.... Not being a hater I LOVE EVERYTHING! Just a suggestion to make it awesomer
This is the most amazing polymer clay tutorial I've ever seen.
Question... did you bake it with the wood stick in it? WOuldn't it catch on fire?
Also... How in the hell did you paint that thing with what looked like a really crappy old split paintbrush?
Wooow... OMG this is so much work CONGRATULATIONS!!
That's so awesome!!! And the candles in the background at hearts!!!
