Really amazing. To those of you reading this comment, friends I may never meet. Wishing you and your family will have a lot of joy in life, forget the unhappy things of the past, and welcome the good things to come.
My Golden Retriever Shim is laying at my feet listening to this. He has cancer and today I'm taking him to the vets to have him put to sleep. He loved the outdoors, especially streams like this. He had a great life and my life was blessed because of him.
Same situation here. Our little girl is a Border Collie but not going to make it for a scheduled appointment. She's in God's hands. Letting her listen while mommy goes and gets a few more shut eyes to stay up the rest of the night with her through the morning. She was brought to us by chance and is more than what I believe we ever deserved. She's been an absolute angel.
Your dog must have been a magical creature. Your comment made me cry and I want to share with the world that it is these things that we hold closest to our hearts. I sincerely hope that Shim did not suffer and I wish him a truly magical journey.
There is nothing more I like than the sounds of Spring running water, childhood memories of fetching water from my Nana's Spring in Ireland in the 1950s. Happier times than now. Many thanks. Anna
Wonderous creations of the One Gd. Thay Thich Nat Hahn said that The creator can be seen in the flower next to him at a dharma talk. The Ram Bam said that one can come close to the creator by seeing His creations....(Shimon)
Prior to being diagnosed with MS, in 2000, my wife & I backpacked in the mountains of NC. Our favorite spot to set up camp, was next to a stream, near Grandfather Mountain. It sounded a lot like this. Due to chronic fatigue, I haven't had the strength to carry the ol' pack through the wilderness, in a really long time. This brings back fond memories. I downloaded it, and will burn it to a disk. Thanks, so much!
I've listened to three other videos of river streams, but this one is by far my favorite. It's not too loud, there isn't to much of the plopping sound. I really like this one

I swear to everyone that tells me that “ugh, I am exhausted and I couldn’t sleep” I tell them about this and when I see them again the next day or later, the first thing they swear to me is that they have subscribed to this channel and they get the best sleep ever. Personally I love sharing about this channel and I’ve convinced 11 of my coworkers to subscribe to this channel.
What a wonderful, massive piece of granite [or what]. I wonder how long it has been there, millions of years? I like rocks, I like moss too. Thank you for the beautiful shot.
This is one of my favorite videos. It reminds me of being in the woods near a creek picking flowers. Like I use to when I was a little girl. Thank you for bringing back those great memories.
I lived in The Mojave Desert, 50 minutes NW of Vegas for many years. I'm from Michigan and moved back here. Back to The Great Lakes, and rivers, and inland lakes. The smells of Fall in the air. The colors of Autumn trees. Fresh cut green grass smell that is softly carried in the breeze. Cardinals, robins, yellow finches, starlings, wrens, black-capped chickadees, blue jays, Canadian geese, seagulls, black birds, hummingbirds, cicadas out of the ground and humming in the trees in the heat of summer after spending years underground. The smell of roses and lavender. Apples hanging heavy on a tree. Fresh corn on the cob and cucumbers bought at a farmer's roadside stand. Thunderstorms. Bare feet in the sand on the Lake Michigan shoreline. Fishing for walleye. Roasting marshmallows over a campfire. Driving over the Mackinaw Bridge that seems to go on forever. Mackinaw Island where there are no cars, but plenty of Mackinaw Island's famous homemade fudge. Pasties. Big 10 College Rivalries. Red Wings hockey at 'The Joe'. Cobo, Fox Theater, The State Theater, Woodward Ave., Comerica Park, and Ford Field. The 'Big 3'. Sugar beets in the Bay County and surrounding areas, and potatoes from Munger. Fruit tree farms in SW Michigan. Corn fields 'knee high by the 4th of July'. The smell of fresh turned dirt in farmer's fields in the Spring. Groves of pine trees and walking silently through them on the fallen needles. Pictured rocks and steep cliffs along the Lake Superior shoreline. Trees laden heavy in the Winter from an overnight snowfall, the snow glistening in the sunshine like a million diamonds. Snowmobiling, downhill and cross country skiing. Ice fishing. Tall ships and freighters plowing the river highways.....I'm home. Yes, I'm finally home.
Nancy Richards That is awesome, everytihgin is so manmade. Nature is free of money, you can live in it like a free person and you feel satisfied, people need money to get satisfied, so sad
Edragoninja Oh, there all kinds of birds just outside my door, and I can make one mean pastie! I lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan several years. I learned how to make pasties from the best up there, ya eh?
+Nancy Richards Nancy, I belong to a writing group, and you just gave my next "writing prompt". So many of the things that you are speaking of, sound like the place I grew up! I too, started listening to this and had flash-backs of home and childhood. I live in the city, but my heart is still in the country, sigh. Maybe someday...................... Thank you for the wonderful visual!!
Perfect for when you're in a loud area and need something to make you calm. Great for studying. Great to fall asleep to. This has to be the most satisfying sound, I can't get tired of it.
+Donald Thomas I lived in Pahrump! My profile picture is when I was riding my Arabian mare, Aire, way out in the desert south of Pahrump. I could saddle up right at my house and ride out from there. I raced barrels in gymkhana, participated in "The Re-enactment of the Pony Express" with 150 other riders and their horses, raced in 50 mile Endurance Races with my horse you see in the picture, and rode, and rode everywhere! Did you know there are nearly 3000 horses in the Pahrump Valley? An incredible group of horse owners and families. If you get tired of the Vegas craziness, move to Pahrump and you'll meet the most wonderful people. It's a community of 30,000 people, and many of my friends live in Pahrump but commute to and from Vegas for work. It's a 50 minute drive one way. It's not some hick town out in the middle of the desert. There's plenty of shopping, good restaurants, and if you're a golfer you can always join Mountain Golf Club. I highly recommend Mountain View Restaurant. There's a really nice, large Community pool, with life guards on-duty all through the season. The rodeo arena in Petrack Park right in town, is part of the park system. Petrack Park is huge with, picnic areas, basketball courts, tennis courts, and plenty of open grassy (real!) areas. Honeysuckle Park has beautifully maintained soccer and baseball fields. Fire and Rescue Services are top-notch, and Desert View Hospital is great. There is Life Flight air-ambulance service there, as well. I was in a really bad horse accident and was taken from on-scene directly to UMC, Vegas. The flight was only 15 minutes long. Home prices, taxes, and services are crazy affordable! If you ever decide to look in that area to possibly make a move, get with my friend who owns "Precious Properties." She's licensed in both NV and CA, and is well respected, very intelligent, successful, and humble. As a single mother of 3, she put herself through Harvard Business School. I hope you have the opportunity to visit Pahrump for one of the many festivals, although, not surprisingly, I'd recommend the "Western Extravaganza!"
I enjoyed listening to this & since there hasn't been any new comments I'll leave one hear... very relaxing, you can't beat the sound of running water August 2019. Reply if you agree....
I hope even if it’s just 1 single person that sees this, that they have an amazing day and an even better future!

Hello) Very pleasant music that really relaxes)
The tree I'm the back is at perfect 90 degree angles! Cool
I didnt notice that nature is beautiful and acute
Rony McJony Acute? Nay, tis right. Acute would be less than 90 degrees; obtuse is more. It is right.
