I can’t say enough good things about my sweet Siberian. It’s almost like having the best of cats and dogs. Clean, loving, intelligent and gets along with all our living creatures.

We adore our 5 month Siberian kitty. He s always where we are. He brings his toys to us so we can play with him. So dog-like in the best way. So loving. A purr machine. My husband is hyper allergic to cats but doesn’t react at all to our baby. It is also due to the brand of cat food which takes 21 days of feeding to take effect. 😻

Most beautiful, intelligent, personable, loving and all around fantastic cat I’ve ever had. I loved them all, but my Sib was so exceptional in so many ways -- a true family member, intelligent companion, friend, and guardian of my heart. Always a large healthy fella, at 17 he went to The Rainbow Bridge. Initially paralyzed with grief, ….. I now remember & focus on our wonderful life & have joy & gratitude for what was. Life does go on. “Grief is the price we pay for love” ….. said Queen Elizabeth.

Part of the reason is that is AI and probably has been set to “air” for close to 10 minutes or so.
I had 2 siberian/persian mix cats and they were total opposites. Tas and Sugar. Tas would bite sugar whenever she'd go for the food and terrorized her for years and was just violent towarss everyone in general. Im not sure why that is. He would always get into things he shouldnt. After i had moved out of my mothers house he ended up getting into some diarrhea medications and sadly he passed. Sugar on the other hand is the sweetest cat ive ever met and is still around, thriving and true to her name. I get regular migraines and when i was 22 she came up onto my bed and put her paw on my hand for a solid 40 minutes until i felt better. Shes just the best lil fluffball ever.

I have two and they are lovely. Very different personalities.
Fun fact. These cats are actually hypoallergenic because they produce less allergens. Like Hypothyroidism. That is the thyroid gland producing LESS hormones. The only reason why people assume hypoallergenic means no allergens is misinformation.

What is the difference between a 'Siberian' vs Maincoone?
$1000 lol. I wanted a big cat and started with the Maine Coon. They can have several health problems and then I saw the Norwegian. I’m of Viking ancestry and thought they were cool, but super rare in the States. Then I heard Siberians were hypoallergenic and lucky there were a few catterys near me. I loved the cattery Siberian Pearl as they are mountain folk like me and my kitten would be used to the altitude. He’s been pure joy and I think he likes our huge catio too and playing in the snow.
Sibs are more energetic, more affectionate, healthier, smarter ànd are hypo-allergeneric. Oh, and the are the most beautiful cats alive
Mainecoones are bigger and sleep more.

A true Siberian has supper thick fur are rare and quite expensive. Get a Maine coon. Less money and are great cats!
A Sib has more energy, is more affectionate and has less health problems. Sibs are just better cats and companions.
I love Maine Coons, but I'm allergic so I have a Siberian.
