For once, I'm cutting some slack: weather... being reported outdoors! Getting out of the studio is the only way to improve awareness and skill. It is appalling how many stations basically re-hash NWS broadcasts, redecorated as their own work via computer graphics. Where I live, the pattern is the morning weather is yesterdays three-thirty nws numbers, adjusted only if traffic cams show its raining. Any afternoon/evening numbers are produced early using 10am info on balance, and most staff are gone from the studio by 2pm at the latest.
But absent a hurricane, I just don't believe 10": they get half of this rediculous "forecast", destined to get ranked as clickbait.
