Thanks for this entertaining, informative review. I love your set up; your wife, and of course having "The Kids" along! I'm partially disabled, mid-60s, but where I'm seeing that the seat can be adjusted so high, I'm thinking I might just about be able to handle one of these. Exciting just thinking about it. Maybe it would give me a new life, as sitting at home alone now - there's not much to look forward to tomorrow anymore. Looking at these various e-bikes has given me a little bit of hope, thank you for taking the time and efforts putting this together, and take care...
Take a look at the lectric trike. I think it's on sale. We ran into a lady on a trail in Monterey, ca who had one, and she loves it ❤ 😊 life's tough . Hang in there . We just lost both dogs two weeks apart. They were almost 16, and it's just really a difficult time. Best wishes to you. Bill
I am so sorry to hear that, Bill. I know very well how our pets are members of our families. I have Tabby brothers now that I call "My Boys," they are my little gifts from God. My prayerful thoughts are with you and your family. I appreciate your kind words, too - they help. Thanks, Bill...
I've watched MANY videos about this ebike. Thanks for giving me some new things to think about! An honest review is always refreshing. Your two dogs actually equal actually 1/2 a full dog. lol 🐕🦺
Love this set up and really think this class of cargo bike could suit a lot people. Hard to beat having a second battery for piece of mind and sustaining higher voltage and speed for longer, but then you also have to say yes to adding another 10 lbs to the bike. Our family cargo bike is up to 100lbs now... I think 'e-moped' describes these rigs well at these higher weights. Anywho, thanks for the video!
So then a second battery really makes a difference in performance? We're newbies. It's amazing that this will take us up a 6% grade fully loaded in this configuration.
A few things I forgot. Average speed was 10-12 mph. 1350 watts of power I think? When you need it , and we needed it a few times. As with any hill gear up when you see it. We stopped for a couple bags of groceries on the way home and still made it with 2 bars to spare. The mirrors, lock and phone holder were a bonus at no extra charge. 7 gears , easy to shift. If you have any questions I'll try to answer them.
I recommend that you swap the location of your lock with your water bottle so that the bottle cage can be more upright. That'll give you options for holding an open container and give you more space for step-thru since the lock is thinner and the bottle would basically sit under the front of the saddle.
Makes sense, but it's my wife's bike and that's where she wants it 😅 yeah. Every time i get on or off I knock the bottle off. We didn't see the passenger package, and I think she ordered everything separately and was surprised the seat didn't come with pads.
Great transportation if you're not far from shopping. Getting a little more mileage as we get used to it.Coast, when possible, use lower pedal assist and, of course, pedal harder 😅
I think so, the bolt pattern would be the same, but I don't think the passengers' feet would line up with the running boards and would be more towards the very rear of the bike.
I sat back there with my son pedaling and I was facing my daughter as she was in her seat and it's was incredibly disconcerting! But mannnn oh man was it fun that night! Either way I'm not going to bother switching it around now.
@@Billsdayoff what’s annoying though if that I bought that package but needed another pad for the back rest of the plus one seat. So I have 4 pads but only need 3.

You will need a 17 mm wrench for the rear wheel on the bike

Watch my short 5 minute follow up on this ride. @Billsdayoff
The running boards with passenger package should have come with pads, right?
Couple more reviews plus a hill climb @Billsdayoff

Just so you know, there is no law that says you have to have music playing through your whole video. It's allowed to just, you know, not have music.
I enjoyed the background music, usually I don't...but this was nice.
It's the loud, obnoxious commercial interruptions that I highly dislike!
I want one!😍

Is it possible to turn the rear seat around so that it will be back to back?

I had the same question
Plus the weight and balance issue.

With less load for half the ride and lots of hills, I got only 20mi. Careful you don't get stranded.
You're right, I see the essential package. Running board and pads . Not sure if that's how she ordered them.
