Another delightful episode. As I have mentioned previously, I am not a knitter. However, I am fascinated watching you and seeing the wide array of patterns. Love you! And another shout out to the essential workers.
Thank you for another cheerful episode! Such a sweet story of the couple who got married sooner then planned to be together through this coronavirus time! Chocolate chips are yummy! 😋
Yeah, Kaarina, the story of those sweet newlyweds wiggles right into the hearts of those of us who are romantics, doesn’t it! I wish you could sit in my kitchen with me today and nibble some chocolate chips. I’m nibbling Kirkland Semi- Sweet “made with sustainable cocoa.” (From Costco.) And no, this is not a paid ad. I used to be sort of a chocolate chip snob, preferring the name brands. Then one day my husband had me do The Big Blindfolded Chocolate Chip Test - and lo and behold, these won! Stay well, and thanks for staying with us! - Liz
I think the adaptability people display in crisis is amazing! I get to see first-hand how creative people have had to become with the shortage of elastic or when they don't have exactly what they hoped for to create a project. Sometimes plans C D E & F turn out better than plan A!
...as YOU have experienced! You have been not only adaptable, but courageous, dear Penny! Here’s praying that your Plan G turns out to be wonderful! Love you, Friendie. - Liz
Hi Liz. I reiterate your thanks to all the essential workers out there. I love the bralette you made. OMGosh, Liz, the small clip showing how to salvage dropped stitches and how to pick them up is invaluable information, in my humble opinion. I can't even tell you how often that has happened to me. I do manage to fix it, but it takes a long time for me. Is there any way you could just put that section into a short video for all to save to watch later? Continued good health and happiness to you and your family, my new friend. Congratulations to the winner! Enjoy your beautiful yarn.
Oh Cindy, what generous praise! Thanks! And yes, I took your suggestion about putting up a video with just the portion on what to do when stitches try to run away. I’m so glad to be new friends, Cindy, and you stay well, too! - Liz
Hi Nancy. Thanks for being “one of us” now! Oh yes, chocolate chips are kind of great, aren’t they?! I see you posted a little flower. Yesterday I weeded flower beds for 2 hours in preparation for summer planting. It felt great - until I stubbed my toe while exiting the shower afterwards! Ha! - Liz
Me too, D Warren, me too! I love Lynn’s color choices for that baby sweater. Too cute! Are you staying well and busy during this quarantine time? My darling daughter and son-in-law are expecting a baby in October, so I casted on a baby sweaters last night. So excited! Stay well, dear D!- Liz
@@GoodyTwoSticksKnits Congratulations on a new grandbaby. So exciting. I have 4 grandsons (20, 18, and twins who are 5, and 2 granddaughters (18 and 13). I love them dearly. They often are recipients of my knitting. I started a slouch hat today and next will be socks for my daughter. I also want to tackle a 2 color brioche hat. Knitting keeps me (kind of) sane at the moment. Take care. Devon
Thanks for teaching and inspiring, Liz! I love your color choices.
Thanks, John. About those color choices. Since I’m sheltering at home, the color choices are pretty much dictated by what’s on hand! Smile. - Liz
