The Fall and Belfast ~ The Fall.~ It was the first fime I took him seriously as a actor. If he didn't get an award he should have. He was brilliant and compelling. I thought about that film a long time.
Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar. The Fall is tough because it's very uncomfortable to be so turned on by a serial killer.

Jamie is so handsome. I never tire of watching and listening to him.
I like his attitude about acting. He considers each role he accepts to be a ‘job’ to be done to the best if his ability but in the back of his mind is always the knowledge that his family comes first. Delightful man - really really a natural talent in front of the camera.
He was SO wonderful in Belfast and so terrifying in The Fall - his range is incredible.
I need to watch both!
Have to watch WILD Mountain Thyme (one of my favourites and up there with Belfast), Siege of Jadotville, The Tourist, A Private War. Dornan is truly a gifted, diversified actor.
I love jamie dorman he is such a brilliant actor and he certainly has a great sense of humour and a funny guy. It must have been really hard for him to do fifty shades of grey because he is a married man and a father. I adore Christian and anastasia for such a great story line.

Barb & Star is one of my favorite comedies, I've seen it several times and still suprises me with how silly and perfect it is.

i just watched 3 parts of Grey and liked it . the first part esp. was done tastfully and i enjoyed Jamie and Dakota . would choose to watch it over any action movie. good on Jamie.
Are you trying to say that the first movie was the only good movie in the trilogy? Are you saying this because Dakota Johnson is in love with Sam Taylor Johnson? The two movies that James Foley directed of The Fifty Shades Trilogy are ten times better. And the screenplay for Darker & Freed are undoubtedly better. Screenplay Writer actually read the books and used the correct material. So our favorite scenes became reality. Niall Leonard the screenwriter even added in a special scene and dialogue for Dakota Johnson. where is the appreciation? She must be sucking on the limes that she’s allergic to.
oh yes Dakota must be in love with Sam😄@@ginact822 . i liked the sex esp more refined in the 1st one. a bit closer to 9 half weeks . Where sex scenes are more creative not just Jamie taking her from behind etc. It was more cohesive , the soundtrack was better . The other 2 parts were more repetetive and to please the viewers.

@@DJ-sh5nv Sorry, tut mir leid, wenn du es so siehst! Zu dem Zeitpunkt von 2015 - 2018 waren die 3 Filme in Love gedreht, bis auf einige nicht schöne Dinge, die im Film oder privat waren für die Hauptdarsteller! Es war aber nicht immer so!
Warum sie nun beschissen waren😢 können wir nicht beurteilen, hier wird so viel gelogen und Warheiten gibt es nicht viele, sonst könnte man es mal nachvollziehen vielleicht? @@maritadiller2276 the three movies were never shot “in love” because Jamie wasn’t and never has been in love with his ex costar. There was never anything private between them, only work. Jamie’s private time was spent with his wife Amelia and their children.
The photos will always be there yes, work photos only since there isn’t and never will be private photos of the two actors.

Thanks for putting up the video of this chat. I’ve listened so many times in the last year and a half and it’s nice to see Jamie while you were talking. As of right now, my favorite performant of Jamie’s IS Heart of Stone! His portrayal of Parker was amazing, the arc so totally unexpected. I hope when the strike is over, you get Jamie on ASAP so he can talk about this movie and hopefully A Haunting in Venice.
A Haunting in Venice??? Must look that up immediately. You can't go to Venice and not think about ghosts. It's the perfect place for a haunting, though not necessarily by ghosts.
My favorite performance was in Wild Mountain Thyme. I think the character he played is probably pretty close to who he is irl.

@@elenalatici9568 A Haunting In Venice is Jamie’s next movie, it’s Kenneth Branagh’s Agatha Christie movie. It has a theater release in the US of September 15th. That’s the date for the majority of countries, but some are lucky to have it the 14th. Jude Hill, Buddy in Belfast plays Jamie’s son.

Recently watched Belfast. The whole cast was great.i noticed he got to work with one of the guys that he was in the fall with (the cop in season 2) Jamie is fantastic in every thing he does

What a great interview. So happy for Jamie Dornan that he not only survived the purgatory of 50 Shades, but has gone on to show all the critics who savaged him that they were badly mistaken. The 1st 50 Shades wasn't horrible by any means. I knew nothing about the books, so didn't know what to expect. I thought he and Dakota did a great job. Then came the horrors of 2&3 thanks to the author of the books whose name I can't even recall, and her husband. Loved Judi Dench's remark about #3 being her favorite because that meant it was over. I still haven't seen Belfast. I live in Italy and it hasn't been available here, unless it was dubbed. No way will I ever see a dubbed movie. Imagine Belfast dubbed in Italian.
One thing kept distracting me during this interview: the chair in the background of the room Jamie was in. I need that chair.

Jamie Doran wouldn’t have a career without Fifty Shades of Grey. It’s true, and you all can admit it or you can continue to have your little fantasy that it’s not true.
If Jamie said in this interview because I did not listen because it all been the same script over and over. the same stuff he spews. Saying he didn’t want the role in Fifty Shades Of Grey over and over again. Than why did he audition for the role twice? For a role he didn’t want 🙄 he sure did take it and took his nine months pregnant wife to Vancouver Canada, and got the role of a lifetime because once again he wouldn’t have a career without Fifty Shades of Grey!

The same could be said about Dakota She was mainly known as the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.
Don't get all the hositlity against Jamie for expressing the same ambivalence about actually taking the role. She said Emily Blunt convinced her to move forward with it, and she has since said far more negative things about the on set experience than Jamie ever has. His complaint has always been about the merciless bashing that was expected and received from critics.
FSOG gave both actors the world wide fame they now enjoy and they both have acknowledged as well as acknowledging the special bond they developed with always having each other's back.

Seems like fans were the ones sucked in and created more fiction and drama around the two actors than the characters they depicted had in the movies. Both actors played around and made it clear they adored each other. They had a wonderful relationship that fans took to a real life romantic level that wasn't true for either of them, but now Jamie gets casts as a bad guy.

To DJ were you at every premier and photo shoot that they attended? We’re you with them when they erer riding on the jet ski? Did you see him put his hand on her leg when she was already on the ski? Have you seen other people saying that Jamie and Dakota acted moe than just friends? @@kaydarley2124 Fans made a lot of the tickle that DJ gave JD on his neck during one interview. She gave exactly the same tickle to a young female she acted with in a different interview. DJ is hands on and leaps all over her friends in way of greeting giving hugs. It's her way. Fans interpreted her actions as being love bc they wanted it to be so. Part of the actors job was to sell the movies. If ppl hadnt believed in the central couple then the movies would not have been financially successful. The movies are in the past. Interviewers bring them up constantly for clicks and likes. It's a shame bc JD is a really good character actor whose career is blighted by these faux porn efforts imho.
