How many FN MAGs do Dutch platoons have? Feels like the mag should always be a platoon weapon, always manning to ensure optimal firepower at any time, day or night
It surely made the guerillas on the receiving end! But its one very heavy machine gun and its barrel heats up quickly after sustained fire. For this, owd opt for the russisn pkm.

Other countries used the C79, Australian army used to use it for competition shooting back around 2000 or so on the old F88s (AUG A1, because the stock telescopic sight is garbage). Good sight from what I hear.
Join the club with the team and we can join the club and we will also have to a few people in digitizers and the family who will not join me and family are now back from holiday in the USA with us for a couple weeks in France with the kids in digitizers for a couple weeks but I think we need a lot more to get back into and I'm going through

Had this gun brand new unused in my service in the Norwegian army. Was great to shoot with a 3.5x scope, but i absolutely hated carrying it.

That looks 1000% like the C6 variant of FN Mag. The wooden furniture, Canadian sf kit and C79 Elcan sights are what we used in the CF.

I loved shooting this gun but I was miserable when it was to carry this guy, has to do it for 45 miles.

It is easily fired unmounted (off vehicle) THATS how we shoot it. And for half of our guns such as AK4, 7.62 is standart.
