ANNOYINGLY POSITIVE THE ERICA SMITH STORY

She is known as "annoyingly positive".
Her name is Erica Smith. Two years ago, she blazed a trail at tiny Sweet Briar College (Va.), a women's NCAA Division III university.
She played two sports at the school as a student-athlete
She was also the first transgender woman to be a full-time and student-athlete.
Classmates loved her. Teammates respected her.
The school administration scorned her.
Yet, she kept her head up and made an impact living up to her nickname.
Two year since breaking ties with the school, CharSports 1's Karleigh Webb checked in with her to talk about what was, what is, and what's next.
