The story that you said honestly is clever and really funny. Yet she seldom makes me laugh. Now, she is clearly not without talent.. But might I say that though she tries and gives it a very good effort,- her late night television interviews stink. Not 'actually' funny....... At all. I've caught her swiping old/used bits... Like once, the making a grilled cheese sandwich with butter, an iron -- on an ironing board. Seen that years before and same thing done in the movie: Mr.Mom. Again- not easy to say because she is a talent.... Personally, I have noticed her trying toooooo hard almost showing off and daring to eclipse Tracy Ullman or Lucille Ball or Carol Burnette. She may too ambitious when she'd likely thrive as a part of a troupe or ensemble (think SNL), actress on a sitcom,- when she must think it beneath her... Insisting on havin HEROWN show. To be perfectly fair, that is the precise dream of most all in entertainment. Hey! I never ever NEVER found John Belushi funny. Not once!
