Does not seem that long driving across, when we were kids, we used to stay at the campground in St Ignace on the water, was cool to sit on the beach and watch the bride light up, along with watching the traffic at night. After the car show wife could hardly walk.. Tried to get more video, too many people walking in front of you, was a-lot of editing lol
What a great day that was for a car show! Think I've seen posters and ads about St. Ignace, but had no idea it attracted so many top notch cars. I've been to Traverse City when they had a (small) car show ...... and just made a wrong assumption about St. Ignace based on that. Too bad I don't still live in Michigan full-time, where the trip up there would be easier. ( lol, but if it turned out to be windy, I wouldn't cross that bridge! I've seen the videos of it swaying. ) @19:33 I'm probably one of the few people who look back fondly at this cozy 2+2 Mustang, and that exterior/interior combo is exactly the way I'd want mine.
Weather was amazing, was some sharp looking cars, last year I took my Mercury Capri to it, since then I changed the rear gear, a steady 75 MPH is now at 2800 RPM or better not the best for a 3 plus hour ride lol. Yes that Mustang was sharp, almost looked like it rolled out of the show room. Was windy on the bridge could feel the car move..
I was watching your video and just before you cross the Mackinac bridge on the Mackinaw City side Mackinaw parking lot I saw my yellow mustang thought that was pretty cool thanks for sharing
Interesting bit of info about the bridge. Great to see some of that show and what you have over there compared to New Zealand. Guess it gave you some ideas on how to paint upcoming models
You should have gone, weather was great, we almost did not go due to weather, figured if anything we would get a good dinner somewhere. Took my Mercury up last year, rained also..
You have to hit it once bring the Z up, took the Mercury last year, due to morning rain left late. athey have a model car show also, but it ended at 1:00, was going to take one to display.
Well they did have it, we were going to go early and bring a few to display, but they end the show at 1:00, we went up late due to morning rain till noon, figured no hurry at this point. Was really looking forward to the model show.. Maybe next year!
Right, driving on the center grates is sketchy, you sway back and forth from the metel and the center is almost like a curb, I can see why the speed is only 45 MPH. Still it's a cool drive across..
Right! I remember that.. was a two hand on the steering wheel on our way back could feel the push.. There was a-lot of nice rides there... Blue mid 80s Bronco looked like just rolled off the showroom floor..
Very cool show. Lots of build ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Alan, was thinking the same thing, they had a model show there, thow ended after we arrived, was going to take a few to enter..
A most excellent car show! Definitely added to my Bucket List! 😎👍
It's a great show, you would enjoy it.. A-lot of walking, wish I could have been there early in the morning..
The bridge is 5 miles long, wow, that's impressive! Looked like a really nice show Kreg, great video!!!!!! 👍🙂🔴⚪🔵

Man...my wife and I were talking about running up there but didn't. We've had our 60 BelAir up there twice. Always a cool show. Looks like it was fun.

Looks like they stopped having a model car show there

Cool car show. But seriously! A five mile long bridge with no center divider?
Right, driving on the center grates is sketchy, you sway back and forth from the metel and the center is almost like a curb, I can see why the speed is only 45 MPH. Still it's a cool drive across..
Don't drive a YUGO across the Mighty Mac on a windy day ⬇️🚙💨 Great job on the video 📲 I like the Rancheros & Broncos. 🐭🤜🤛

Thanks Terry, it's a must if ever in the neighborhood..
