I know of Silk & Steel by Ariana Nash. Though it does overdo it on the darker things (Like, more graphic than Game of Thrones), it is an adult fantasy with a gay dragon prince and a bi elven assassin. It's enemies-to-lovers, you've got queer people who are both good and bad, and the world is like if the world of Skyrim was the product of the nuclear war of Fallout, and it actually takes place around Europe which I rarely get to see happen in an apocalyptic setting.
And you are right about there not being many high fantasy adult queer books written by men, which I think is kinda sad because I'd love to see more Achillean books written by men, especially by queer men who have that experience.
There is, though, a YA fantasy book I know of written by a man, I don't recall if he's queer though. Runebinder by Alex R. Kahler. Most characters are labeless when it comes to their sexuality, except for the main character Tenn, who is a gay guy. But it being a YA, he does have a bit of a love triangle going on. But the world itself is interesting with it being a zombie apocalypse caused by necromancy.
There's also the Eon duology by Alison Goodman. I don't remember if it's adult or YA, but it's based on Chinese and Japanese mythology, there's a supporting trans MtF character.

If I had a penny each time book throws gay villain at me, not asking person's pronouns when they are clearly not cis I'd be rich enough to buy all the books i want. *sigh*

    I have a list of some male Gay high fantasy series you haven't mantioned yet;
The God's Games and The Fallocaust are both amazing series by Quill Carter. He's an amazing writer with wicked humor and his series are dark and so well written. Each book is split in two volume's of each around 800 pages. Both series are still on going and the Fallocaust even has companion books that are also pretty much that big. God's games is high fantasy, Fallocaust is apocaliptic. Do note this queer writer down for this is a big one!!
The Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling. (No idea if she's queer or not but in my opinion that really shouldn't matter. I'm not, and I enjoy these books all the same.) If you liked the Robin Hobb series you will like this one.
Apollo Ascending by Nicole Bailey. A story about Apollo and the prince Hyacinth that makes you fall in love with the ancient greek characters.
The Wode series by J Tullos Hennig. It's a retelling of Robin Hood and his relationship with Gamelyn, young lord of Loxely. As a native English speaker I learned so many new words from this one as it's guite sophistically written, though not hard to follow. You also learn a lot about the Templar's as well as peganism.
The Godstone Saga by Jocelynn Drake. A series with multiple gay couples of whom's perspectives in turn you'll read. It's about gods and mortals, about humans and dragon(shifter)s and a prince that has to save his country.
Silk and steel series by Ariana Nash. This one I already saw mentioned by others in the comment sections. It's dark and graphic and takes things far on a few occassions, but those are dwarved by the storytelling and the develolpment of the relationship between the two male leads of the story; the dragonshifter and an elf. It holds a bit of romeo and julia in it, two races that hate each other and the two lovers that therefore cannot be together. The story truly grips though, unexpected and epic and it's masterfully written that each image is as vividly imagineable as if you were watching- no- living a movie.
Anyone else read these books? Any other recommandations? I'm always on the lookout for more gay male fantasy series to read.

Ooh I’d heard mixed things about the Ruin of Kings but you’ve sold me on it, and yeah we definitely need more Bi men in fantasy (and more queer people in general ) I can’t wait to read The Unbroken and Mask of Mirrors

      Success!! Lol
I mean there are some very unique choices made especially in terms of story-telling that I can understand aren’t for everyone but overall it’s just amazing and for me those elements just add to the story!!!
And the unbroken and mask of mirrors as well of course!

    Dragonfall by L R Lam.
Queernorm world, enemies to to lovers slowburn, m/m romance, dragons and a heist. Amazing world building and wonderfully written characters.
I cannot wait for the sequel novel next year, Dragonfall was one of my favourite books I read last year. Absolutely recommend it.

It’s definitely less center stage than in other fantasies but I just love how casual the rep is bc of that

Can you do a review on the kindle eBook The Keeper of Rhymes. My entire school is talking about it and I really want to read it,
but I'm not sure if I should spend my allowance on it. A review would be super helpful. Thanks!

My favorite q* fantasy of all time is the Beautiful Monsters series by Jex Lane. Basically every single person in the books is bisexual. It's a (warning: very dark) urban-ish fantasy about one man stuck in the middle of a war between vampires and incubi. The characters in it simply have my entire heart despite being quite flawed. Bonus points for a shapeshifting gargoyle dog familiar!!!
Runner up is White Trash Warlock by David R Slayton which is a lighter urban fantasy featuring a gay soul bond romance!
*RUclips deletes comments that use the q word, happy pride :))))

Ah Yes… because I haven’t literally read every single book by a marginalized creator I can’t point out a lack of diversity in publishing…
Also (not that it’s important) the only reason it’s not in this video is bc I hadn’t read it yet, BLRW is literally the first book I talk about in my most recent queer adult fantasy recs from this year
