2 years ago, just before leaving my job I trained a young man who believed in the universe as the catalyst for his creation and success. With firm authority and by the conviction of the Holy Spirit to do so, I dismissed his arguments and presented Christ to him. While I felt I was obedient to the Lord, I always wondered if I was too harsh or of negative effect in my approach.
Recently I connected with my old boss, and he told me that the young man I spoke with back then just had been baptized the past Sunday. What was more heart moving, was the young man was there in the background as he told this to me, and he said, it was our conversations back then that opened his mind and heart to see the truth and led him on a path towards the Lord. I praised God for being one who planted or watered in that moment.

I too, would like to see Elon saved, but with the same joy as anyone else. I also see why we have an appeal for the rich, honored, and famous, but clearly we should not.

With someone like Reese, I would have asked after she admitted she was a liar if she had ever been lied to by someone she trusted? Moral apathy as in "Everyone lies" becomes real when we recall when we've been lied to. The same goes for adultery, when we recall being cheated on or someone close to us being cheated on. Then asking how these things made us feel? Did they have any long-term damage? This to me is how we can take people from being not caring about sin to making the damage or "death" of sin real. Then once they recall the hurt they've experienced because of these things then ask "how many people in the world have been hurt by others lies and adultery? How many friendships, marriages, and children have been hurt long-term by our sins?
Then move into the Gospel. Maybe this might make it a little more real for people. Hope this helps.

No, it doesn't help, that's not how you preach the gospel of Christ. Your approach would only take them farther away from the gospel. Maybe you should read Acts and see how Paul and others preached the gospel and you will see clearly your approach is not going to bring a clear gospel to anyone, you should learn from Ray and other true evangelists how to preach a biblical gospel.

In all the Torah commentaries it clearly refers to the 'perpetrator having to compensate the 'victim' to the value of the loss. It never meant revenge. Yes, it always meant restitution for loss.

He quoted scripture saying that vengeance belongs to God, but then disagreed with Elon's suggestion to not seek vengeance. Can someone help me out here?
Ray tends to speak out of both sides of his mouth a lot. In fact, his whole "ministry" is built off of him speaking out of both sides of his mouth. You will be better off not listening to a word he says, because all he does is confuse ppl.
