The about the igloo houses is that the entrance is way to big. Need to out a board across to make the opening small so the dogs dont drag their bedding when they go in and out. It also keep more of their body heat in. Big opening like that let so much of their body heat out. Also straw is way better hay gets moist and cold. Just some tips
I like having my dogs in the woods like that too and they are staked out on chains, I think it’s better also. I always dug a hole where half of the bucket sets in, I like the way you did yours.
Turned out really nice can’t wait to see y’all tree some bears this year. Ain’t found anyone around me to go with so I get enjoyment watching y’all get after them.
I wanted to say that I really enjoy yalls videos and you are my favorite u crack me up. You remind me of the good ole boys I grew up with down here in south arkansas delta. And I wanted to ask if you or the the team ever made videos of muzzleloader or Rifle hunts I like bow hunting but down here we do a lot of running walker dogs running deer and long range shooting across farm fields. Thank you for all y’all do I hope y’all have a safe and blessed year 🤠
I have used that type setup also..works great...only thing I added was a fence with a walk through gate around the perimeter as a secondary boundary in case one got loose or keep stray dogs out if one came in heat..
That’s great idea. I keep my females on the end by themselves where there chance they can be reached. I like the idea of secondary fence cause I’ve had a couple get loose
@@TheUntamedHunt Also works great when loading in the mornings...most of them will "clean out" before they hop in the truck if they have 5 minutes to run around inside the fence while im loading my other junk🙂...
What setup do you use on your stake outs? Especially on the end that attaches to the collar. Mine are constantly wearing out and there is a lot of maintenance and upkeep to keep good hardware on that end of the chain
I have a couple in lots and a couple on stakeouts. Thinking about putting the other two on stakeouts and re-working things after seeing this vid. What length chain do you run and what are those stakeouts for the chain?
Looked good to me. Hope you get a chance to go hunt some hogs in the off season and bring that to us if ya'll don't have seasons and limits on hogs up there.
I love yalls and Kirk's hunting videos but I could care less for an igloo dog house. They don't retain cedar chips or straw in the winter and the opening forms a wind tunnel
This is just wut I expected figured someone would talk shit about something to do wit his dogs if you don't have anything good to say don't say anything smh. I love the setup
So Bravecto is pretty damn pricey and you purchase according to weight of each dog. You can purchase the X-large dog dose and half it between 2 dogs that may add up to that dose weight. Save you some $$

These are the very best hound hunting videos out there great work boys you're doing a great service for hounds everywhere 😀
Thank you buddy! Really appreciate that
Awesome. Looking forward to more houndsman tips and set ups. It’s always good to look at other folks set up’s to get new and better ways to do things
I like the way you do your feed and water. Thanks for sharing

Enjoyed the video.....I like watching the hunts but I'm just as interested in the fine details as well. Thanks for sharing.
I really like the food and water station it is better for their digestion I have not seen any one else do that with their hunting dogs before
I like the lifestyle types of videos. Keep them coming
Dandy setup josh!!!

Thanks buddy. Looking forward to getting out there

Thank you. We do some muzzleloader/rifle hunting but hasn’t been our focus. Hopefully this fall will be a banner fall
Sweet setup need to do a video to introduce your hounds
Looking good 👍
Thank you

I use “s” hooks and heavy duty brass clasp. Mine wear out as well.
I have a couple in lots and a couple on stakeouts. Thinking about putting the other two on stakeouts and re-working things after seeing this vid. What length chain do you run and what are those stakeouts for the chain?
My average stakeout is prob 4-5’. Depending on distance to food and water station.
I just use heavy duty stale I get off Amazon.

You going to make a video on the food plot your building?
Yeah man. Working on it now.
Great video Josh!!! How did you attach the water buckets???
I use a miniature clevice.
I like the way the set up is I mite do that myself. What was them stakes called?
Concrete form stales

What is the brand dish you used for the feed dish?
I’ll look at it and let you know.
I dont think the boys will like it but uhmm the hell with'em it'll b good for'em. Lmao
That’s exactly right 😂😂
Use stainless screws. Lookin forward to more vids Joshua. Simper fi
Thank you. SS screws is another idea/upgrade that I like. Semper Fi
I like concrete but I think a dog's feet and joints do better when they are on the ground.
I had mine on concrete in the past too but I prefer the ground for various reasons
Mr. Josh, are those Black and Tan dogs Walkers??
Yes.
@theuntamed What do you use for fleas?
Bravecto Flea and Tick. I’ve used it for 4/5 years now and really like it
@@TheUntamedHunt thanks!

Con chó có biết săn mồi không?👍👍👍
I guess Kurt's off the untamed?
This is news to me? Please let us know.
Kirk started his own channel. Under his name. Kirk Price
First
I feel like the dogs would be prone to more illness on the ground like that.
They’ve done great! I like both kennel and ground set ups.
