#Lockboss If youre just starting out this machine requires a certain type of key be used to override the token system. Seems predatory and expensive. Buy an Auto Pro Pad Basic for 1k and use any key. I'd love a SmartPro with the downloaded software as opposed to tokens but you could spend 20k to cover all your vehicles possibly more. I have an Auto Pro Pad and and Autel IM508 and they cover everything this can. Plus, i can use any key. I do like the fact Advanced Duagnostics noticed they are pricing themselves out of the market and are trying to correct it. However, this is a weak attempt.
$2000 for a machine that only works with Ilco keys? What does it do that an autel im508/608 or autopropad wont do, other then only work with ilco keys?
Still think they priced this too high. So many other great programmers out there that do more for a lot less. If it was $1k I'd grab one to just keep on my van for the handful of times a Smart-Pro might be needed. All software should be available as well. Great questions though. #lockboss
Always have more than one programmer. The problem I see which I run into quite a bit, is when a supplier sells out of their stock on a particular key. You have no option if your tied to one manufacture of key. So if I understand this right, since Ilco doesn’t make Toyota/Lexus Prox keys, you cannot use the Smart Pro Lite to program a OEM key? #Lockboss

I always get a little nervous for an tech company that runs for an niche market when you pay so much and need updates. We have seen last year that if the tech compagnie will stop the tech has no use anymore. Vanmoof was good example. But I can be wrong #lockboss

They don't know. They're not locksmiths. They only test this on whatever they currently drive. This is a retail company. They answer phones and ship products, and they're not using this stuff to make a living.

Was amazed to see they support F-150 2021-2022, but I believe that’s a mistake since the ilco key goes up to 2020 in it’s support… Great value for Mercedes, GM Can-FD and Toyota, but still a bit overpriced. Very good move in the right direction, hope the price goes down in sales #LockBoss
Honestly I think they’re branding it wrong, it should be a better Xhorse Key Tool Plus, because they already have the best Mercedes software around, if only they had advantages in BMW/Audi/VW, they would get all that business with it instead of Xhorse when they’re at this price point. Their biggest asset is the tech support

I qiut buying "look alike" remotes since they are hit and miss. I have seen Ford and GM look alike ilco keys that would not program and I had to buy oem keys Just sayin' #Lockboss

This is the dumbest thing. For the amout you pay for those overpriced keys you could have bought the regular smart pro. Its just "pay me later"
