- Purchased the rebuild kit for the Bendix MV-2 Brake Control Module from Accupart in Nevada, USA. It had the O-Rings and Gasket but not the check valve.
I noticed when you ran the line through the firewall that it didn't look like there was a rubber grommet to protect the line. It could wear a hole through it on the edge of the firewall due to vibrations. Same goes for any electrical wires. May be a good idea to install grommets anywhere there isn't one. It may not have been that way from the factory but it would be a wise upgrade. It may save you some headaches down the road. There are grommet kits available. You would have to cut them on one side to install them over existing wires and air lines so you don't have to completely remove them first. As long as they are snug they won't go anywhere. Or you can put a small dab of silicon on the section you cut to keep it in place. I worked on commercial trucks for many years and I have seen mostly wiring that if a little more protection was installed at the factory the part would not have failed. So I have done many little upgrades to trucks to prevent comebacks. Just trying to help.
Your skill with working around this engine is remarkable and really impressive.
A little bit of petroleum jelly will prevent damage to the o-rings when reassembling and it will slip back together easier.
Looks real good. Your doing a great job
Hey Audie, thanks for the kind words. Means a lot! Hope to have something more entertaining soon LOL.

Dá trabalho mas o resultado final compensa, escutar o ronco do bruto não tem preço🇧🇷🇧🇷
sim senhor, há muitas pequenas coisas que preciso fazer para concluir este caminhão.
Soooo by the way is there any footage of this thing at Pocono back in the day obviously
Nice work. That hose would have been fine with just a couple wraps of tape HaHa.
Hey don’t tempt me, I’ll put that hose back on 😁
What's the story behind this truck? Why did it sit for 15 years, and who was the original owner? Great video!
@@zachwheeler9846 purchased from original owner. She said she stopped driving when her son was killed, it was supposed to be his truck when she passed. Sat ever since
@ThePoconoPete oh wow, very sad. Glad it's in good hands now and getting fixed up and staying original!
@@zachwheeler9846 yes sir! Will have more time during the winter months
