  • Bill Bryson's New York Times bestseller is a deliciously funny and informative romp down under. Worth reading, or hearing, even if the reader can't do a passable Aussie accent.

Just picked this book up at a charity shop and began reading it a couple of days ago. I have read other books by Bryson, At Home, The Body, Notes from a Small Island and Summer 1927 all of which are excellent so I won’t surprise you by saying I am already enjoying this one. I love his references to the many things in Australia that can kill you! Volume 19! Thank you

Great reading. Have the audio book but the reader is much dryer than you. Really enjoyed it!

True, but it was still enjoyable. And the book list sounds cool.
I’m still hoping to find someone on RUclips reading the chapter about the crocodiles stalking the couple out fishing…

This is one of my favorite books of all time by my favorite author. I don't have a copy of it and greatly enjoyed listening to chapter one again. The part where he describes the nap he took in the car is my favorite
